Parked by cattle grid (NC937169), walked S along road to a layby (NC939165) then roughly E then SE along an ATV track over the 377m spot height and on up to the summit ridge and a short walk along to summit cairn, returning same way (2h15m) | kdbennett | 22/02/2024 |
Good parking ~350m SE of cattle grid (NC 9394 1664). Ben Uarie and Beinn Dhorian first, then steeply down, across road and up to A' Chrasg before heading up here on an a good ATV track. 11.3km round in sub-optimal weather. | jonglew | 14/11/2023 |

Followed ATV track up the ridge from A Chrasg. With Helen & jonglew. | Dangerous Dave | 14/11/2023 |
From Beinn Dhorain. Faint path down the stream between Dhorain and Uarie to the road. Up to near the road high point, then traversed over, eventually finding the ATV track virtually all the way to the top. | Owen B | 16/09/2023 |
From cattle grid in Glen Loth, via A Chase. | Chris Peart | 28/04/2023 |
With Yeltzbagger from the cattle grid at the high point of beautiful Glen Loth. Followed ATV track almost all the way. Boggy in places. Wonderful views as we had all week. | Stevie n Tay | 30/11/2022 |

From Glen Loth. As mentioned by others, the road is in bad shape in places. A shovel to move the thick grass might be useful soon! Good hill. | danpquinn | 20/11/2022 |

From cattle grid. ATV track to A'Chrasg and then fainter, but dry track to the summit plateau. Return the same way. Just over two hours.
NB Road from Kildonan to cattle grid has deteriorated badly in last 18 months. Approach with care. | the pigguy | 26/06/2021 |

Return to Glen Loth parking on the col near the cattle grid. This time our goal is Beinn Mhealaich. Bright and sunny here but below there is a sea haar blanketing the Moray Forth. Follow an ATV track along the forestry edge to the 377 hillock highpoint then across the Allt Na Tulachan basin to the slopes of Beinn Mhealaich. A steady climb to summit cairn. An ispiring delight, the sun reflects off the top of the thick white sea haar blanketing the forth - Knock Hill (Moray) The Cairngorms - Top of Cromarty Sound Oil Rigs & Mount Eagle amongst others poke above the blanket. We linger to enjoy before descending. | briandavies | 19/09/2020 |
A'Chrasg then Beinn Mhealaich - squally weather, but tops clear - with a socially distant 'Bolton'. | ger | 09/09/2020 |
With Ger from 939166. ATV track in existence in some parts. Just over 2 hours round walk. | bolton | 09/09/2020 |
An easy walk from the road summit (good parking) along a mainly frozen ATV track, patchy snow on the track, good snow higher up, just enough to make the going easy. Great views. Very enjoyable to be out after over a month of house repairs with no hills. | Gill | 13/03/2020 |

From Glen Loth Road at sheepfold, then followed the Gable Burn to summit plateau, with Ellie dog | BLACKHILL | 17/06/2019 |
From summit of Glen Loth road via point 377m then NW ridge. Damp ATV tracks make for an easy if damp route. Excellent views. | Winterfloodian | 01/06/2019 |

Late afternoon run after Ben Griam Mor/Beg...not so wise long day. From A9, couldn't find spot to leave car at Culgower, so drove north to GR987125 where Layby on southbound is opposite the small road. Up the road and then turn up the gorse lined track near caravans past a cottage higher up. Track continues up to the pylon. At this point the gorse fills the track/path bed making use of the shelter. Easy going along the edge though and to follow the line of gorse up the hill. Gorse gives up higher up then along track to end then over wet moorland to last summit rise. Run down in the dark. | N.Morters | 03/03/2017 |
9 of 10: From A Chrasg. | ChrisR | 29/01/2017 |
Ascended after Carn Garbh leaving the GLen Loth road from NC936129. The lower slopes from this point have very thick vegetation. If repeated I would leave the Glen Loth road at NC934136 to try and avoid this. Descended north west back to my original starting point at the viewpoint at the summit of the Glen Loth road (see Beinn Dhorain) | raffemeister | 22/08/2016 |

W Jenx, from nr high point in minor road to SW. Good parking on a bend. Contouring traverse in over marshy ground following ATV & animal tracks to burn then easy steady climb to summit. | nordicstar | 27/03/2016 |

Parked on old A9 left after widenings. Steeply up on a tarred road to a cottage and footpath continued beyond thick locked deer gate which I climbed by using the adjacent wire fence. Over 2 miles up through heather in a groove in the hill, sometimes blocked by gorse. Very strong wind all day. O trousers on as heavy rain shower came on. When path ran out at 1500' a steady plod over short heather, tussock, cotton grass and spongy stuff to top at 10.55. Severe NW wind. Nice hill apart from locked gate at the start. Tent shredded at Brora next day and drove home from 4.30 am to 17.00. 542 miles. | arranc | 20/06/2008 |
