Coronavirus - on everyone's mind - just heard that all schools to close in 2 days- with return date uncertain. Unprecedented and frightening times. Fled to the hills on way home for a quick dose of what they do best - beautiful peace and tranquillity on a lovely calm sunny afternoon with wide views. Rich ploughed field all around ready and waiting on the promise of spring. Stepped 3,000 years back in history with a look at the nearby burial stone circle to N - then further back to the ice age with the hummocky glacial mounds hinting at past natural power. Then returned to the reality of today and a trip to Tesco to see half empty shelves and the power of uncertainty.Chris Pearson18/03/2020
