After a morning ascent of Glas Bheinn from the NW, John and I drive around to the Bone Caves car park and followed the path alongside the Allt nan Uamh up onto around 600m and then south to the Breabag summit. Returned same way apart from a diversion up to revisit the bone caves - total time 3h 27min.mproudfoot13/08/2023
Up the Allt nan Uamh then on to N Top.sclater09/07/2023
With: hb; From CP for Bone Caves, followed good path past the caves then continued up by Allt nan Uamh to bealach then followed ridge to summit of Breabag. Descended NW back to Allt nan Uamh and climbed Beinn nan Cnaimhseag before descending to car.Ian Baines22/05/2023
From the parking area at 253178 with Ger, CM and Tony J. Past the Bone caves and then keeping left of the outcrops. Great views from the summit in glorious November weather. North to the Simm but curtailed as the light was fading. 5.5 hours return.bolton29/11/2022

clockwise circuit over HuMP to north of the caves, rose quarzite crested SIMM to the north of Breabeg, then finally this Corbett Breabeg far too late in the day, half an hour after sunset, so I knew I'd have couple of hours in the darkvegibagger16/09/2022
From the bone caves. Thick mist from c.600m. Interesting summit in mist.dal22/07/2022

From car park on A837 for Bone Caves, taking track up to the caves, continuing on track S to pothole at NC268170, SE to cross dry valley, then ENE to near Fuarain Ghlasa, and up to summit of Breabag nostly via broad grassy ramps, continued N down more grass ramps to Bealach an t-Sionnaich and up mostly rock-and-slab slopes to Breabag N Top, descended initially S, then SW to reach headwaters of Allt nan Uamh, followed it to the waterfall at NC275171, then picked up small path on N side of stream and followed it down to the Bone Caves trackkdbennett02/09/2021
Conival, Ben More Assynt & Breabag from Inchnadamph to Allt nan Uamh , bike back to Inchnadamph. 25km hike, 5km bikeHuwel16/08/2021
d car park NC253178 12 noon, half-running w ankle strapped, up to bone caves then pleasantly up hillside w a bit of scrambling. Overcast and blowing a gale, exposed on top but some interesting views of nearby hills. Descent careful but the last bit into the vally was steep and treacherous and I had to try two or three places, nervous about ankle! Final km on path ankle felt better, but it was deceptive... The 'spring' where the water emerges from nowhere is also impressive here.NorfolkPT2105/08/2021
From Bones Cave CP. Fairly simply bag. Up a few boulder filled ravines then open moor land. Further up is simple navigation to boulder field. Great views all around. Explored bone caves on return. Most of which seemed to have been filled with toilet paper!Jhimmy04/08/2021
club weekend, climbed with regJamesSDonald03/07/2021
After Ben mor Assynt and Conival - retrace footsteps most of way down Conival then contour round towards Am Bealach to south - easy going. North top ridge very stony, Breabag mercifully grassy. Read descent via waterfall and bone caves - exposed and narrow - RUBBISH - its a walk in the park. Path non-existent for about a mile downstream, then improvescarole engel29/08/2020
Up and down via Allt nan Uamh. Summit in cloud but glimpses of the view.davidpettit8417/08/2020
Finally reached the summit - Rhiannon is my lucky talisman. Spent ages at the summit.Alpujarras08/08/2020

From Bone Caves CP. Followed Allt nan Uamh up to watershed, then went up to S top then across to N top. Clear dry conditions.Morning26/08/2019
From Inchnadamph, very enjoyable approach over stony north top, returned via Bone Caves and road walk down A837rjf3508/08/2019
Starting from tent well up R. Oykel. Crossed river (no bridge despite what map shows)to Meall a Bhragaid (Gt), on to main top Breabag (C), on n to Breabag N top (Gt), all this by dead reckoning in cloud. Then across the Oykel valley after a tricky descent and up the other side in improving weather to Meall an Aonaich (Gt) and back down to tentdickscroop30/07/2019
On the way to Durness. Standard route from the west. Minor scramble up slabs on the way up, took a slightly more northerly line on descent.Owen B19/04/2019
With K directly from Beinn a Fhuarain to the west. Not a good route - ascent challenging on loose scree, even to North of main scree slope. Got turned around in mist and somehow descended to S instead of N - very chastening. Returned to Bone Caves car park.Ashley25/10/2018
With Sue from the Bone Caves carpark up narrowing glen to strike up hillside on a very faint path then N to summit. Good views all round. Returned to explore caves.Frank02/09/2018

Up beside Allt nan Uamh. Went up dried burn to right at 27258/17028 on a path above the burn on left at first as far as 28344/16563(faint at times) then headed across to the summit.duchally05/10/2016

From car park on A837 by salmon hatchery at bottom of the Allt nam Uamh glen. Very interesting valley, with caves and springs. Sunny intervals, but very windy on plateau. With JK, KM and NP.Man of Kernow130/09/2012
Inchadamph - Conival - Ben More Assynt - S Top - Corbett Top - Breabag - valley of Allt nan Uamh to car park where met family waiting. Breabag is not up to much to be quite frank! Still good, but not same quality as other hills in this area. Conival and Ben More Assynt are epic. The ridge to Munro Top is quite narrow and exposed. With GW & RW to Ben More & then alone from there.AGWilliamson20/09/2012
From the bone caves car park on A837 with J. Quick look in the caves & amused ourselves by spotting the where the burn disappears into & reappears from its underground passage. Continued E up to the plateau & then turned S for the summit where an icy wind left J very cold. Back by the same route with great views across to Canisp, Suilven, etc.NotReallyABagger07/09/2012

Solo. In morning I set off along path beside Allt nan Uamh. There is now parking space and a well made path up to the caves and round in a loop. I walked up to the caves – bones of brown bear, wolf, artic fox etc had been found there. I ascended to summit of Breabag. Upper slopes of Breabag are a limestone meadow. Did Ben Hee in afternoon.pwbellarby29/06/1997

On path to caves on Inchnadamph estate. Sudden hush as stream disappeared in limestone. Dry stream bed led up to heathery slopes to large scree and a long slog to top. 12.40.arranc24/05/1995

Did this after two munros north of it. The wind was howling through a gully near the summit while the land around it was in completely still air. 24 years later, I've never forgotten that amazing occurrence.IanHHill28/05/1992
