Parked at NC 4244 1065. Dry forded Cassley 100m S after dry spell.jimbloomer28/08/2022
As Gill, hideous terrain.iangalbraith21/07/2022
Afternoon following Beinn Sgeireach. As Gill track to Glenmuick cut down on path to wire suspension bridge. Easy crossing at cottage then ATV up broad ridge and a few peat hops once high. Lovely evening views to hills of the west.N.Morters16/04/2022

Vegetation not bad - easier than nearby Creanich Hill and Beinn Sgeireach. From Badintagairt derelict farm to NE - parking opposite NC 4285 1023. Cross river NC425102 - crossed further south outward and got a shock as ankle deep suddenly became knee deep but no problems at NC425102.carole engel09/09/2021

Got turned back because of deer killing yesterday, but no stalking on a Sunday. This route avoids wading the Cassley and is very easy. Parked on grass off the end of a passing place by the track leading to Glenmuick. Walked along the track to a passing place above the river where a path leads down to a good bridge as mapped. The path continues to Glenmuick (abandoned house) and a little way up the Abhainn Gleann na Muic there's a good place to cross easily dry shod in trainers (no bridge). A good track heads up the hill, getting wetter and fainter, expiring in the hags on Carn na Ceardaich. Watch out for Sika deer, as well as reds. Hags mainly avoidable on the W side and easy going to the top. Stunning views all the way and especially from the top. A bit longer than from Badintagairt but that bridge is very useful.Gill20/09/2020
Drove up Glencassley and met a keeper who directed me to the shallowest part to wade the river. Two deer fences to cross on the way to the top. Superb mountain views, especially West.NormanW22/07/2020

The bridge at Badintagairt is now mangled, submerged and unusable. River too deep to cross at this point but managed to wade (knee to thigh deep) 3 km down the glen, from a small parking spot just below Glencassley castle. Trickier on return as the ground thawed; certainly wouldn't be possible in spate.AndyS19/11/2018
From Badintagairt. Swing footbridge rocks but it's Ok. Animal paths on north side of Croick Burn. Annoying deer fence at 300m. A half hour dose of fog and rain passed through on the summit plateau, otherwise ok.Topographer5717/07/2018
A straight line from An Stuc to the west. The cliffs shown on the west side of the hill do not exist. Then went north-west to Meall a'Bhuirich. Quite a few deers and I got quite close to some that were in the peat hags before they saw me.Alan Moore01/06/2018
Parked at Badintagairt. Through deer enclosure and over good swing bridge and up Croick burn, over deer fence and on to summit helped by frozen ground underfoot. Good views. Back same way.Coinneach18/03/2018

Parked at derelict farmhouse. Badintagairt. Footbridge a bit wobbly but should last a while yet, hopefully, since the river is too deep to wade across and the nearest alternative bridge is a long way away. A boggy slog to the summit, initially by Croik Burn, rewarded by great views west to Suilven, etc.AndrewFinnimore07/01/2017

Parked by the old deserted farm of Badintagairt. Fun on the dodgy suspensiin bridge then a squelch to the top. Best take the subsidiary summit head on as the walking off that line is poor.nordicstar24/07/2016
A bit squelchy.jenx24/07/2016

A mighty squelch with terrific views all round Coigach and Assynt. Worth the struggle. Nice swinging bridge over river.Martin R30/05/2014

Parked at Badintagairt in Glen Cassley (NC 428103). Walked over to the footbridge, round the ox-bow lake and then headed on a compass bearing straight for the top. The only minor obstacle was an easily-climbed deer fence below the steep slope up to point 521. Glorious snow-covered views of the mountains of the north, in bright sunshine. Then back to the car to go up Beinn Sgeireach.martin_hall30/03/2013
