| After visiting Sgurr an Fhidhle descended to col and headed up hill leaving vague path for diagonal ascent towards summit. Rough grass replaced by flat embedded rocks before returning to grass on summit ridge. The clear skies on Fhidhleir were soon replaced by thick cloud and rain before I reached Coigach putting out of my mind any idea of taking the unknown steep descent on a compass bearing towards the Graham Top Speicein nan Garbh-choireachan. Instead descending back down known ground seen earlier from the head of Allt nan Coisiche then west over rough ground to pick up earlier mentioned cairn and descent route down path out of the cloud and back to Culnacraig. | mntainman | 17/09/2021 |
