From road.. Sort if very wet trackvegibagger22/08/2022
From same parking spot as for Mid Hill (HY 3490 2449). Followed a wet and often boggy mapped track to HY 3534 2396, then a direct line up bad heathery ground.jonglew09/08/2022
From B road to north. Lesson on Orkney 1:25 map symbols: parallel dashed black lines = wide canal. dashed black lines = narrow canal. Start with that premise of the tracks and paths and you won't be disappointed. And there are more of them than marked on the map. Some even have water lilies growing in them!Minto01/08/2022
From Birsay carpark to north. Boggy tracks then pathless heather terrain to summit. Small cairn and heather lump nearby similar height per Abney. Windy with changing weather.Denise 30/07/2022
Unpleasant, the mapped and unmapped peat tracks little more than water filled trenches. Rough and spongy on final haul to the cairn and HPColin Crawford28/07/2022
