On the way to Mid Hill. There's a good path towards the top, then hop the fence to the summit. Easy to rejoin the main path to Mid Hill across a short stretch of rough stuff then areas of bare ground. Good views.Gill24/02/2019
On way to Mid Hill from Scorra Dale. Visited high point and the two cairns from where there is an excellent view to Hoy and Stromness.NormanW17/06/2018
From Scoradale. Planned to continue to Mid Hill but ran out of time.Crib Goch11/06/2018
With Lily and Rosie. Dry and good viz. From top of Scorradale road followed path to the two Gruf hill cairns, over moorland, as I missed the Gruf track, to shoulder of Ward Hill then onto Mid Hill. Back via Ward hill trig. Easy moorland walking. 90 mins.alexmaclennan10/06/2018

I was unsure which was the highest point, but visited all contenders. In these circumstances I have not submitted a GPS reading.David Purchase31/05/2016
Several heathery bumps, at least one of which I'll have been to before. Came away with quite a collection of summit waypoints. This completes my Orkney Mainland P30s set.RHW05/06/2014
Visited all three likely tops before bagging Mid Hill and then Ward Hill with Jim Bloomer and Tricky Speirs as day became cooler and cloudy.Dugswell201/06/2014
