I opted to tackle a round of four Tumps, plus Knap of Trowieglen, from Pegal Bay. Bad decision. The route along the east side of Knap of Trowieglen, after Dwarfie Hamars Knap, was just awful - heather in profusion and lots of deep spongy moss. It never let up.
