Via mast track, Skriaig, vague intermittent paths to top, and back via North mast on more lumpy ground.willyross30/07/2023
Good parking NG 4343 4125. Track to Skriaig. Beinn na Greine, Stroc Bheinn (HuMP)carole engel30/05/2023
As others up the mast track, bagged Skriaig, along the ridge to the summit (was reasonable dry underfoot), retraced steps back to col then headed directly to lower track. 3.9 miles, full circuit about 1hr 45.JulieB24/05/2023
With Dave Roeder. Parked at NG 434412 (10:40) and followed the road to the southern masts then down to the col and up to the summit (11:40). Returned by the same route; finished 12:40. Overcast but dry.dbb14/05/2023

Via Skriaig mast trackPaulineD18/05/2022
Sal dropped me on road by burn coming down from waterfall to E. Had to cross to S side due to bracken. Good descent direct to Portree to Gaelic football club with decent views over Portree.davechaffey20/10/2021
Was here to bag the trig, it was a shame that the cloud over the Cuillin did not lift , good viewsNozzer08/06/2021
Parked at forestry carpark on A87 opposite braes road. Can see why nobody goes from here, ended up hacking through deforested pine/bramble jungle on a wet rainy run to the trigMatt290113/01/2021
Early morning short walk via mast track/road to the west. Up to the higher masts first due to cloud and mist down low, then onto summit. Easy enough going, cleared on route back so cut over to the lower masts and down. Round trip about 90mins. 1/3 over to Eynort for the days main walk.N.Morters12/10/2020
From Glenmore road via track to masts.Winterfloodian11/09/2020
Parked by the track which goes to the phone masts west of the hill, cycled up the tarmac road with some loose stone to the northern mast, then headed east to the bealach and up the NE ridge to the top. Last one of ten for my two days before we get isolated for Coronavirus!Simon Winton14/03/2020
A sneaky hill to fill time before driving home late to obtain touroid-free roads (Skye is fffing rammed all year it seems). Up the easy mast road, left fork to the smaller masts and contoured round to the bealach on sheep tracks and then bogs and hags. Much nicer going to the summit, sadly no views. Back over Skriaig, found an ATV track which helps a bit but you can't avoid bog vegetables which run almost to the top. It would be a nice top except for the masts. The walk down goes through nicer scenery and would probably be more rewarding in clear weather.Gill30/05/2019
Rain and mist. Unexpectedly good summit, though some Dick had “signed” the top of the trig pillar. Now rubbed out.Jon F25/05/2019
Approached from minor road to the West via the track to comms mast then NE across rough ground. Fine viewpoint. On own.MorecambeMonkey17/05/2019
A quick 1st light dash before gales and snow take hold. Up mast road to Skriaig, to take advantage of the stunted growth vegetation at higher levels. Came back via the lower mast but the ground was tougher, for longer.Isbjorn21/01/2019
Mast road from the west. Back over Skriaig.Topographer5722/11/2018
From the Glenmore road, up past mast. Wet after overnight rain and cloud down so no views.NormanW03/08/2018
5 of 5: From Skriag. With Sam.ChrisR04/06/2018
Parked at the start of the mast service road north of Glenmore. Under 90 minute solo return. Reasonable underfoot from the mast despite the very wet weather.bolton02/10/2017
Now for Marilyn on Skye left. Skye TuMP no. 226vegibagger09/07/2017
Via the mast track and Skriaig.Chris Peart22/10/2016
up the track to the masts, down to bealach and up to the top.robertphillips08/10/2016
Parked on the Glenmore road by the start of the track to the masts. Up the tracks and then a easy moorland walk to the trig.garyhoney02/08/2016
From the Skriaig service road jct above Glenmore; after its end, over moor with a hagged area at the lowest point but otherwise good underfoot. NB almost no rain the previous 5 wks. Fine viewpoint. I hadn't expected much of this hill except bad terrain but now on the top I decided to add the appealing looking Stroc-bheinn to the day. Cloudy, grey weather but the base at 1800 ft.pwheeler19/06/2016
Up the track to the mast and first Tump, Skriaig then along to the trig and Marilyn in an hour. Then contour back to lower mast and track back to the start.Dugswell208/05/2016
From the masts at dusk. Quite easy across the bog. Nice sheltered trig.jenx10/02/2016
Easy walk up the Glenmore road with Jenx at dusk. Cut across to the main peak and return boggy and bit rough but short with good lines available to follow. Bagged the tump on way back.nordicstar10/02/2016
from the scary single track road to the W. Go to the right hand mast and follow peat hags to summit.Thearlaichdubh20/08/2015
Here for the trigpoint. TP:UK log: Mr TJR asked as we were driving to Skye - will we always go to Skye for our wedding anniversary? - I replied without hesitation - yes until I've bagged all the trigpoints, he thanked me for my honesty. Another one in the bag here, with no route finding clues in any logs here, we headed up to the masts and then took a beeline, 1.2km of hard going boggy, rutted ground. Great views and couldn't spot any damage on this Vanessa, looked in good condition?thejackrustles21/05/2015
With Val. A weeks holiday on Skye. From SW. Took advantage of track to aerials then across moorland to summit.mike.hoult08/06/2014

Triangular circuit from Glenmore via Stroc-bheinn. Sphagnum like Ryvita after 7 weeks without rain.jimbloomer18/06/2012
From the main road at NG47470 40620. Mainly a pleasant moorland yomp to an interesting top with great views. Tiny bit of plantation horrors at the beginning - but I've met a lot worse.Martin R25/02/2012
Parked at the start of the mast road. Just before the top headed off across to B na G. Cold wind. Then off to Stroc-bheinn.chrisbien04/06/2011
