From Bridge of Gaur as staying at Bridge of Gaur Guesthouse. Along the easy to follow tracks all the way through the forest path and the E approach. Newer OS Map shows a smaller track continuing S and we followed this exactly on the map though from 8.8km - 10.2km this was overrun by sphagnum moss but it did reappear at 10.2km. At 750m we left the track to head straight up to Meall a' Phuill which was relatively easy then from there followed the cairns to Meall Buidhe SE Top where we picked up the main path. Ran the main path over Meall Buidhe to Garbh Mheall before dropping off to the NW towards the waterfalls. Hard drop down through the heather but definitely possible and boulders in the river at the bottom make it easy to pick up the path to the W. Easy track all the way back. 24km total. Brilliant. Time includes 25mins dosing at second summit. Loop from dam to S of MB and Cam Chreag. At top of MB in 1h 15m, but rough going over to CC. Morton's bothering me in both feet. Warm, still (sometimes dead calm) day with weak hazy sunshine, intensifying late afternoon. Set off 2pm. Rounsfell28/05/2023
With Eve. Beautifully clear and blue sky invited us up the hill. The ground was frozen from the night's frost making the boggy paths far more walkable (though they had been thawed for our descent). The final km to the summit took us along a ridge with extraordinary panoramic views with only a few small clouds dispersed among the higher summits.RufusHodge04/03/2023

Walked with Kev in very wet and boggy lower levels even though it was snow and ice covered for a lot of it, better up top with good views all around. Was very windy on top so we didn't hang around long.supermario07/02/2020

From small parking area near Loch an Daimh dam (NN 51191 46376). Followed the stony track then onto a faint path marked with a cairn. Very boggy in places, best to head to the right of the peat hags, the path directly through them is awful as I discovered on descent! Once at the SE Top easy ridge walking to the Munro summit cairn.david23020101/11/2018
