With Martin and Willie, you can drive all the way up to 4th windmill in track , park and nip up it.tallblond16/09/2023
Chose to cycle the access track to the foot of the hill. Couldn't bring myself to drive it!Matt290124/06/2023
Should have read previous entries and driven to foot of hill instead of parking at power station.lordtonult03/06/2023
Parked close to power station but could have driven further. Followed turbine road and then straightforwardly up to summit.Crumblie231/05/2023
Drove up windfarm track (on a Sunday) from NG333436carole engel28/05/2023
The lazy way. Drove up minor road past Balmeanach, through forestry plantation and beyond new Power Station, part of the Edinbane Wind Turbine development to reach the upper turbines. Short crossing of tussochy ground to summit - grand viewsSpudGunn20/02/2023
Route as per Gill, on a wet and windy day. 30 minutes return from car.willyross06/11/2021
With KeithbytheC. 4 miles 1hr 30 walking time. My 800th Scottish Marilyn.JulieB14/09/2020
parked at eastern edge of forest, just west of power station. Decent surfaced forest track to drive on. Walked up track round power staion and up through windfarm. Ascended from track up easy slopes to summit, dodging minor crags. KeithByTheC14/09/2020

Parked at the power station, cycled up the track to SW of the top then a quick walk up and an even faster descent on the bike Second of sevenSimon Winton13/03/2020
Drove up to power station from Balmeanach then short walk up the windfarm track hen over mostly easy grassy tuffs. Howling 50mph gale, but clear. 1/4 MarilynN.Morters22/02/2020
There's nothing to stop you driving up the wind farm road late on a Sunday afternoon. Good parking just beyond the gate near the high point and then it's an easy stroll to the top over grass and burned off heather.Gill29/09/2019
As Isbjorn, then drove through double gate to high point. Good this way, no locks or padlocks and saves a tedious hill.iangalbraith26/08/2019
On foot from the Power Station. A dry interlude.NormanW06/06/2019

Another day off from Winter Munro bagging on account of the awful weather forecast. Up the wind farm access road beyond Balmeanach - a gate at circa NG350440 was open and no sign of a locking mechanism, so was able to continue up to a double gate at circa NG354452, also no locking mechanism. Then up burnt, but now saturated, moorland to the top.Isbjorn13/01/2019

Via the turbine road from Upper Edinbane - before breakfast.jimbloomer10/04/2018
Parked at the power station at 351441. The access road is ok to this spot. Through the forest of wind turbines on the gravel road to about 353456 before heading directly to the top. I could see 21 turbines and non in operation on a windy day. Solo 70 minute return.bolton03/10/2017
Clockwise circuit over six TuMPs starting with Creagan Breaca, that include the Marilyn Cruachan Glen Vic A skill and ending on Ben Scavegibagger07/07/2017
Drove to gate just past power station, easily up tracks then a thrash across rough moorland.Chris Peart22/10/2016
A not very interesting hill, surrounded by much better stuff.jenx10/02/2016
With Jenx. Up the minor road then on up forest track. No gates just two cattle grids. Ditto turbine road. Sign said 'shut the gate' so we did. Not worth spending energy on this uninteresting hill surrounded by turbines. Glad to get out again with it ticked.nordicstar10/02/2016
Drove to power station and cycled to within about 500 metres.Topographer5711/09/2015
from the road end to W. In theory you could drive 1 mile to the power station, but beware the angry windfarmer. Plod through the bog and heather from near summit of bog. Good that this is so hidden away.Thearlaichdubh20/08/2015
drove up on wind farm road to just below the top last 600m through deep heather.robertphillips26/04/2015
Parked at power station and walked up to the summit. Usual mixed feelings re windfarms: helpful road for access but what a scar all the same.AndrewFinnimore30/05/2014
Parked at bridge over Allt Ruaridh. Headed over moorland. Edinbane wind power station came as an unpleasant surprise. It is possible to cycle or even maybe drive to within 650 metres of summit- to NG3535045660 - on gravel road. Summit has small cairn on aMartin R28/02/2012
Parked at road's end. Wind farm being built with 10 turbines already built in a straight line. On widened forest roads to a mast and then to east. Another heave of hill and to top at 15.00. Skylarks. Pair of silent grouse.arranc11/05/2008
Accompanied Lesley Munro for his 900th marilyn.Smudge30/09/2007
