Early morning walk from the community hall in the mist and rain. Visibility worsened as I climbed. Did a couple of tops to make sure I had the right summit, but was obvious once up there. Returned the same way luckily the sound of the waves led me back to the carBuck08/07/2018

Final hill on Vatersay for me today on a 29k walk out from Castlebay. Muddy track of sorts up from village despite fine weather. Did a couple of tops here to make sure I had the right summit, but was obvious once up there. Corncrake heard on both out and back leg from the PO.jonglew08/07/2014
