A morning round from the road to the north: Beinn Dearg Mhor, Beinn Dearg Mheadhonach and down by scree from near the col between them, quite step but OK. Started out with cloud down to road level, found I had cracked my compass and lost the fluid so not working. Guessed I would be Ok for a straightforward route so ploughed up through the cloud only to come out into glorious sun at about 550 metres, a sea of cloud below me with 7 'island' peaks sticking up througnh it, a classic temperature inversion - brilliant and solved my compass problem.dickscroop03/06/2018
anticlockwise circuit from Sligachan south for 2.5 km up Allt na Measarroch, up north on to Ciche na Beinne Deirge, over Beinn Dearg Mheadhonach, BD Mhor, out to An Coileach and finally back along the beautifull grassy ridge to Glamaig summit, Sgurr Mhairivegibagger04/06/2017
An easier ascent than the Corbett, but still tough. Done with GHC with occasional very heavy showers.Play2End03/06/2017

On a round from Slig with Steve Smith. From BD Mheadhonach and on to Glamaig.jonglew07/05/2017
Did after Glamaig. Superb day on the hills.duchally18/06/2016
M on very hot and breezy day from A87 car park. J and O accompanied up SE side of the cone, but too hot for O the dog. Calm on top. Great views to Glamaig. Continued round to Beinn Dearg Mheadhonach. Much easier walking. Proceeded E from top for 100m and descended N down compacted scree gulley. Base covered in large stoned embedded in heather, but interesting return route to car.Martin6611/05/2016

Sligachan, Sròn a' Bhealain, Beinn Dearg Mhór, Beinn Dearg Mheadhonach, drop down scree before Cìche na Beinne Deirge into Coire Dubh Measarroch, return via Glen Sligachan. Slow day, with Fellwanderers.Edgemaster29/03/2015
Completed whilst doing Glamaig horseshoe. Good views all round, with substantial amounts of cloud inversion. Great view to Black Cuillin. Descent towards Glamaig tricky to find path.quadbarrel17/10/2013
MMC Skye weekend at Carbost Old Inn. Solo walk from Glamaig to Marsco.DK and Kevin did the reverse of my walk. Sunny and dry. Much of Black Cullin in whispy mist. 7 1/2 hours.alexmaclennan14/09/2013
Week in Skye with Mum. Cloudy and wet all day so did the Beinn Deargs and Glamaig - fairly big walk! Lovely ascent up Druim na Ruaige, horrible scree coming off NW end of BD Mhor, Glamaig from the bealach only slightly better, then back down Allt Daraich for miserable bogtrot back to hotel.Mark Jackson15/07/2013
round of marsco, beinn dearg mhor, and glamaig from the hotel.robertphillips16/07/2012

Climbed after Marsco. No time to do Glamaig so desc nearly to col and steeply into corrie (direct desc to E ridge is better. Then long walk back along faint path to Sligachan (18:20). Good weather and fine views to Cuillin all day.dbb12/06/2011

From the Slig. Did Mheadhonach, Mhor and Glamaig. Easier than it looked from Mhead and cracking views eastwards.Jake99424/07/2008
from Mheadhonach. Traffic on A850 like toys. To large cairn and easily down to bealach. Nice scramble up over a still intact boulder surface with a few scree patches to top at 12.15. Magic views. Scalpay all round and Sligachan directly below. Glamaig now enormous to N. Unpleasant return on loose scree and 1 1/2 mile squelch over bog.arranc08/10/2007

Cairn, continuation S from Glamaig very steep loose scree not recommended after heavy rain. In and out of Cloud but a great viewpoint when clearRhayader_wander11/08/2006

2nd leg of Sconser-A'Coileach-Sgurr Mhairi-Beinn Dearg Mhor-Beinn Dearg Mheadhonach-Sligachan walk. Scree slopes were nice for scree running down but the ascent of Beinn Dearg Mhor was steep and awkward. However, a fine summit with now glimpses of the Munros across Glen Sligachan.pwheeler19/05/2001

Beinn Dearg Mheadhonach - Beinn Dearg Mhor - Glamaig round from The Slig.Eddie29/07/1987
No summit. Camping at a busy 'new' campsite again at Slig.rainy start slowly cleared so with Colin & Dave went up Mheadhonach. The next climb up Beinn Dherh Mhor looked loose and nasty so stupidly we contoured across the loose shifting angular screes on west side of the hill to reach the Glamaig bealach with relief. I alone then attacked the 1100 feet of scree climb with relish up Glamaig.Chris Pearson20/07/1986
