From the small parking area immediately SW of the bridge over the Abhainn Ceann Loch Ainort (NG 5379 2652). Straight up the northern spur, and on to Garbh-bheinn.jonglew05/09/2023

Anti-clockwise route of Garbh-bheinn and Belig with John. Started from large lay-by at the Eas a' Bhradain waterfall. No visibility and very wet rock above 600m made for an more exciting round than it otherwise might have been. Descent down from summit of Garbh-bheinn was not obvious in the clag, but we got down with great care. Descent off Belig involved some scree-ing. Total time: 4h 54minmproudfoot19/06/2022

Another swelteringly hot day.dal30/06/2018
After Garbh-bheinn. Sublime day, with sun and cloud inversion. However on Bealach na Beiste I was in the cloud and unable to see the route up. Looks like I did the hard route and it was very scrambly and rocky, not as easy as some route guide seem to suggest. Descent was on on horrible scree as I bypassed the crags on the north. Too exhausted for Glas Bhienn Mhor - somewhat dehydrated despite lots of water.Jhimmy03/06/2018
A fine round of Sgurr nan Each; Garbh Bheinn and Belig. Only problems on descent from Sgurr nan Each when I got on wrong line by-passing pinnacles but sorted it out. Everything else straightforward. Another fine day.dickscroop02/06/2018
Round of Garbh-Bheinn, Belig and Glas Bheinn Mhor frim road bend in unbroken sunshine. Up west ridge, steep with some mobile scree. Down N ridge to about 550m then dropped down steep grass towards GBM col.Topographer5726/05/2018

2 of 3: From Glas Bheinn Mhor.ChrisR13/02/2017
My plan was to climb Belig and Garbh bheinn from A87. Weather was fair but cloud lingered. Off to bad start, left my phone in bunkhouse complete with route. I set off on track alongside the burn, thin to nonexistent and walking was tedious. There is some grade 2-3 scrambling on ridge, but I could not remember where or whether I should avoid it on scree to left or right. I foolishly headed into broken ground at the start of the ridge and found myself on exposed and difficult ground. I carefully extracted myself from my difficult position and headed back down the ridge. I had been spooked and was initially for abandoning the hill. But after lying in sun for a bit and eating some lunch I turned round and started back uphill towards a col on Belig s north ridge. I took it very slowly on scree and steep grass, but got there. From ridge it was simple walk albeit slowly to top. Selfie time. I then returned the way I had come. rough heather back towards the burn was very rough and unpleasant.langskill28/08/2016
On a Garbh-bheinn, Belig, Glas Bheinn Mhor day from the Loch Ainort side. From Garbh-bheinn on the way down to Bealach na Beiste I decided against the obvious gully as a way up and made a way up through bluffs and boulders on the breast SE of the gully. Never any problem, but it was a relief to finish up on a nice SW arete (easy, grassy) high up. I decided on the N ridge for descent, a delight and easy underfoot, though it had to be turned at a steep rough (rock?) section by going into upper Coire Choinnich. This led nicely to the foot of Glas Bheinn Mhor S ridge. More marvelous views; lots of good arctic moths on Belig and Garbh-bheinn, too, in the sunshine.pwheeler14/06/2016

Parking off main road at minor rd 542268. Nice view of pod of Minke whale. Use small burn opposite to make way onto hill, aiming for col between Belig and Glas Bheinn Mhor. Rough going to 200m then eases up. Took the NE ridge of Belig to gain summit with superb views in great weather. Down the NNW ridge to 500m then cut back into corrie and along wall to summit of second Marilyn. Grand half day trip.nordicstar11/06/2015
