From the end of the Old Corry Road, we followed sheep, deer and possibly human tracks to Coire Beithe. Once across the Allt Beinn Deirge a more recognisable path climbed to Beinn Dearg Bheag, then up the steeper slope to its bigger sister Mhor. A gin-clear atmosphere throughout, so fantastic views to Blabheinn and the Cuillin-proper. A great blustery ridge to Beinn na Caillich but no sign of its fabled pot of gold. Descended directly back to Old Corry through a mishmash of boulder, scree and heather before reaching the gentler sheep slopes beneath. If there is a footpath down from this summit then we never found it, although my left knee begged me to do so throughout.summitter19/03/2022

From the end of the Coire-chat-achan road (NG 61917 22764), where I was dropped off by my spouse. Took a faint path WNW across the moor, then ascent up the boulder field, very steep in parts until the ground eased further up to a mix of grass, heather and rocks. Visited the huge cairn and trig point before heading down to the connecting bealach. Then easy ascent to the top of Beinn Dearg Mor. Descent to Bealach Coire Sgreahmach was nasty - very steep and loose scree all the way down. Then good path up, initially over boulders, to the top of Beinn Dearg Bheag - visiting high point and large cairn - the latter a much better viewpoint. Then followed path down its east ridge, over the Allt Beinn Deirge, and across the moor on a faint path back to the start. Solo.Man of Kernow102/09/2021

Parked at Old Corry road end, and followed will-othe-wisp paths to the start of the boulder field and more or less straight up. Orange-tipped fritillaries for company, and many spring flowers and orchids. Outstanding panoramic views from the summit. Onwards to BDM....Nick Down129/05/2019

From Beinn Dearg Mhor via enjoyable ridge, wind dropped a bit. Ascent easier than the last one. Tedious descent through asteroid field but had plenty of time to take it easy. As expected, a fine walk - reminiscent of the Paps of Jura. 3.75 hours.Wycombe Wanderer24/03/2019
