From the east, the tarmac approach road to Warroch. Parking easy at gate into the marked strip of woodland further east on the minor road. Walk all the way to the end of the tarmac road past warroch house and the cottages and pond. Continue on the track, past another more dried up pond to the 2 barns. There's a walled open store, take the track up between that and the second barn. Go to the gate, locked but easier to climb than the deer fence. Follow grassy track up, go R at first turn, then L at a crossroad. That'll take you directly to the summit. Return the same way, there's thistles everywhere. Very pleasant and nice views. NB the summit is no longer open pasture, but new forestry, in places now 6 feet high. It won't be clear for long..... | Belfarm | 03/05/2023 |
From east using gate (or wooden bit beside it) to get inside new woodland. At the older trees the left fork is easiest but there is a choice of routes. Last bit will be a brute in a few years time | fasgadh | 01/11/2022 |

The last of 6 tumps today, approaching from Downeri. Used the 2 old bridges at 053046, then over the deer fence into the hill area which is now entirely planted with tiny conifers. Returned through Golland without seeing anyone. | NormanW | 05/03/2020 |
Hill dug up for trees to be planted in Spring, 2020. Parked SW of hill, just short of Golland. [Approx. 056041] Walked through farm and then turned NE on path over 2 unusual bridges. - Covered with grass.Gate through deer fence is NW of summit. Route NOT advised. Unpleasant GOML lady lives in Golland. | russell61 | 21/10/2019 |

From minor road to E. Just past last cottage through gate and diagonally up field to gate to top field. Cows low down to W. Top covered in thistles. | chrisbien | 09/09/2017 |
Parked in gateway just west of very last cottage, Easy ascent to trees, one gate, and round to summit. No cows. | Minto | 04/01/2017 |
From the east, safe parking at 074051 but could probably have driven to 071046. Hard surface as far as 065048 then easy hill access but beware of electric fences. | Topographer57 | 07/11/2016 |
From the minor road to the east. Could have driven a bit further as the track I walked on was better quality than the minor road! Cows about near the summit; placid. | Play2End | 05/04/2016 |
Started at Littlerig. Forest track round north side of Innerdouny then through gap and picked up another track on descent through felled areas to Upper Warroch. Sloping pasture to unmarked summit - just W of old wall, fence and a few trees. Returned to car via 5 other P30s. | Lindsay M | 03/05/2015 |
Last of the Carnbo six, tricky little gorse gully to descend on direct route to road to avoid farm, plus two rivers to cross, wellies useful yet again. | alda | 29/12/2014 |
