Parked at the bottom of the farm road. Up the road, over the farmyard fences then followed the mast road to the brick building. Then headed to the trig summit. Back the same way. | JAdair97 | 24/01/2024 |
From Fankerton as others. | NormanW | 11/12/2023 |

From Fankerton carpark on B818. West along the road for a few hundred yards to avoid the farm buildings. Track then path round gorse to hill top. Wonderful evening views. Return by similar route | Lynnebe | 15/05/2023 |

Parked in front of old ruin at Crummocksteps. Back down road a short distance, climbed a gate and thereafter two more fences/walls to climb but no difficulties. No cattle around. | Crumblie2 | 04/03/2022 |
As jonglew but got moaned at coming back through the farmyard. Would be easy to circumvent. | Wycombe Wanderer | 30/12/2021 |

From 739826 on the Tak-me-doon Road followed track till necessary to climb up through young trees to marshy area before indistinct top of Darrach Hill. Should have ticked it when visiting trig long time ago.Direct line to summit of Myot Hill, then road walk to Broadside WTW and ancient track to Faughlin Reservoir (fishery) where I was accused of damaging the fence at the SW corner. The number of discarded booze bottles rather helped my case. | lordtonult | 18/05/2021 |
After reading the various reports decided to try from the North. Parked on B818 near Crummocksteps and crossed a few fences always keeping an eye out for cattle (there were none) on the way to the trig. | curlebd | 18/04/2021 |
From the S. near Coach House. I had hoped to ascend by the track to the masts but I was told by the farmer that the hill was closed and that there were wild bulls near the top. I ascended across a field about 200m E. of the farm. The farmers daughter (45-ish) seen me and chased after me up the hill and caught me at the summit and said that it was private land and insisted on escorting me off the hill whilst giving me an earful. I mentioned the Access legislation but she said that she did not care about it and that she owned the land not the government. If I were to be seen on her land again she would call the police.Aye right. | bjewing | 07/03/2021 |

Mmmm pricklyangelduo, not sure I agree with you. Drove to farm and rang number on gate as gate shut, advised we could walk through farm but must park at the bottom of the road. As we were just leaving the owner called to say we couldn't go through the farm as the 'bulls' had just been put out in the field. So we decided to have a look from Pankerton side. Not to bad, through pasture over wall, fence and then another wall and fence and then a steep section to the top. Shame someone dropped their phone on the way back (me!) so we had to do it nearly all again! Luckily only half way and so thankful for the track on my GPSr so we could follow it exactly. | thejackrustles | 13/09/2019 |

Asked permission to go through Myothill Mains farm yard. Granted without question so long as I closed the gates. Great viewpoint on gorgeous afternoon. | Campbell Singer | 01/11/2018 |

After Skea Craig. Angry farmer at Fankerton meant I had to cut up through fields to W with cattle and gorse. Much, much easier from S. Good views. Final Falkirk TuMP. | Thearlaichdubh | 22/07/2018 |

Walked in from farm track to south west. Crossed wooden gate, walked through what was once a quarry and ascended easily from there. Afternoon walk on a very wet day, but a disappointing hill given its interesting appearance from afar. | JohnW | 06/06/2017 |
Parked at foot of drive to Myothill Mains. Called at house to seek permission to go up mast track, which was readily given. Then many gates to trig, which was surprisingly not in a mast compound. | ngthack | 16/05/2017 |

Chose the obstacle course route from a layby on the B818: climbing the first gate, through the next two, over a wall and carefully over a barbed wire fence, all the while keeping a mutually comfortable distance from a herd of frisky cows. Wonderful views of the Ochils from the summit. | Nick Down1 | 04/08/2016 |
Tick. | Dugswell2 | 15/04/2016 |
From the north. Parked in lay-by then across the field, boggy in parts, over two fences then up to the trig. Summit is extremely muddy. Signs of cattle although none about at this time of year. | Stevend1 | 25/01/2016 |

P entrance myothill mains track to open fields top full of horses. | robertphillips | 15/12/2015 |
Didn't fancy walking up the mast track past Myothill Mains, so used the track to SW. One gate, one fence and easy grassy slopes, on top in a few minutes. | alda | 30/10/2015 |
From road to north, wide views to east especially. | neimcv | 25/09/2015 |

From B818 to the N. Excellent parking for Carron Glen, under pylons. Field track 200m W leads back to pylons. Follow line to next gate. Through another field (cows today). Over wall/fence to mast infested summit. Great views above fog. | Minto | 28/09/2013 |
