Spoke to helpful lady at Lagganvula Farm, who said okay to parking beside horseboxes at track end beside the six neatly arranged bins. From there, along track which runs behind house shown on map, then uphill above stream. Path or animal tracks up west side of burn to about 1km from summit, crossed burn, and followed crest to trig and top. Fantastic Mull and Ulva views. | willyross | 25/10/2023 |

From eagle-spotters layby beyond Killiemor Cottage up and west to CnD, CnF and on to Beinn na Drise with Kev and Chris. Sufficiently thick mist to arrive at wrong top first. Actual summit has trig pillar with all its bits still intact. | lordtonult | 04/05/2022 |
Second attempt. The first time by the nice route (Lagganulva), I was dim enough to not notice that there ought to be a trig and turned round at the first cairn in the thick mist. This time, I got to the top. Rather than repeat the same route, smart arse here climbed the hill using the forestry track to the north, starting W of Crannich. The track is fine, only a short section of bog to the deer fence, which is easy to climb at a strainer. After that, it's bloody awful terrain in summer, just tussocks, drains, bogs, some of the most noxious ground I've ever encountered. Almost as bad as Dumfries and Galloway. Contoured Beinn Bhuidhe na Coille Moire, crossed the river high up and found much easier ground the other side of the sheep fence. Phew! Nice steep climb through rocky outcrops, then fine views from the top. Slightly easier return following deer tracks next to the river. Not recommended. | Gill | 18/07/2020 |
From track 452418 to cottage just west of Lagganuvla. Parking, track marked by a neat row of 6 bins in wooden windbreak. Track as others up to the shielings and path/animal tracks up the west side of the burn. Fine views though weather closed in on way down. 2/2 afternoon walk 2.5hrs round trip. | N.Morters | 14/03/2020 |
From Lagganulva - excellent track then path up the burn led easily to the summit. | Chris Peart | 13/11/2019 |
From the waterfall car park at 445423. An up and down walk over largely animal tracks and directly east. Just over 2 hours 30 minutes return. Solo. | bolton | 20/09/2019 |

After learning that Ulva ferry does not run on Saturdays. From minor road summit N of Lagganulva. Track past two dwellings then nice grassy track traverse up the escarpment to some shielings, then animal tracks up to good ground. An easy one. | Topographer57 | 28/04/2018 |
Trig visit. | chalky1953 | 23/04/2018 |
A good walk up the old track then followed the stream and across to the top. A nice final Mull hill. | jenx | 26/08/2016 |
Lovely bag from the carpark at the waterfall to W. Hill is well grazed by sheep so there are plentiful paths heading in the right direction, then easy traverse along the obvious balcony to Cnoc an da Chinn and straight down the ridge to Kilbrennan | Thearlaichdubh | 01/05/2016 |

Bought new American GPS in Tobermory to replace now defunct old one. But it didn't display gridrefs. Boots still wet soon making new dry socks soaking wet, dried trousers as sun came out. Uphill on sheep trods, through bracken but went too far east to a large drop down before substantial climb to top at 15.20. Vanessa 9756. | arranc | 01/09/2006 |
From the road after Tom nam Fitheach. | Eddie | 16/04/2005 |
