Up Glen Forsa then by forest edge and up to Beinn nan Lus and across very dry ground to Beinn Bhuidhe. Returned by south east ridge for delightful walk along the glen.SS09/06/2023

With Malky in very low temps (-7 back at van) with soft snow from about 250m up, after a night in the bothy. Easy up from Tomsleibhe, but a difficult bash through to Beinn Bhuidhe afterwards. Rounsfell12/12/2022
A beautiful frosty autumn day. From Glenforsa, through the gate after Kilbeg and up to Beinn nan Lus, a quad track helps get through the shite ground below, then good going towards the top and to Beinn Bhuidhe. To Beinn na Duatharach, sheep tracks help through the tussocky descent to the bealach but mainly go in random directions. The bealach is vile and tussocky. The face ahead is steep and nasty looking, so contoured up W of and below obvious crag, steep, tussocky, hard going. Emerges on flatter ground approx. 598365, then across boggy stuff to N end of summit ridge, which is easy and pleasant; superb viewpoint. Nice descent traversing mossy grass across Liath Doire, joins quad track until it goes off into the wild blue yonder, then shite down to the sheep pasture and the Glen Forsa track. Stunning views on the way down too.Gill22/11/2022

From Pennygown, parking and a welcome sign. Up the track to cottage, then to the deer fence at wood, up fairly easy grassy ground to summit, trig visited on route. Onto Beinn na Duatharach.N.Morters13/03/2020
From Tomsleibhe Bothy - a boggy thrash.Chris Peart05/11/2019

Having cycled up Glen Forsa for Beinn na Dutharach, climbed this one on the way back from 605405. Steeply up to the trig first on Beinn nan Lus then along to the Marilyn as the weather deteriorated.NormanW14/07/2018

Storm force winds were forecast for the afternoon, so we set off at first light for a swift tick. Parking available just down the lane at 596427. Walked SE down track past cattle until beyond the fences and then walked up to the grassy top. Nice views but wind meant we couldn't linger.mindlessflogger20/12/2016

Left bike at bridge over small stream at NM606403 and followed stream uphill much of the way. Inauspicious top with a small cairn but, as ever on Mull, great view. Hail and sun. My final Mull Marilyn, and feel a tad sad. BTW Dunaros hospital is great.Martin R24/04/2012
A good road to Killbeg from the car park in the woods, by Pennygown. A steep and boggy climb up to the intact trig point on Beinn nan Lus (408m). Too cold and windy to carry on to Beinn Bhuidhe so we turned back. Summit not claimed. We got soaked. With Éire, Evan & Alfie.Dangerous Dave03/03/2012

Parked at entrance to Glen Forsa. Brisk walk to Killbeg cottage. Faint track over grass to a deer fence gate. Steady progress uphill to top of first rise, then on easier gradient bypassing more small crags to top of Beinn nan Lus column 9718 at 10.30. Cairn on a nearby prominence was not highest point either, down and up to domey top at 11.05.arranc21/08/2007
