Lovely Lochbuie! Used the bikes around the bay then up from near the chapel. Beautiful day.jenx25/08/2016
With Maol Ban anti clockwiae from Barachandroman. Spectacular wilderness walk, no paths but not too bad underfoot. Great views across Firth of Lorne and plenty of eagles seen.AndrewFinnimore10/05/2016
Wonderful windswept hill from the Lochbuie carpark. brilliant style behind the chapel/mausoleum across the bay, then follow the well trodden sheep tracks upwards. On the way down make sure you keep W as the slopes of Maoll a Bhann are very unpleasant. Look at both the chapel and Moy Cstle. Refreshments are available in the hut in the carparkThearlaichdubh04/05/2016
With SG. A stalkers path starts climbing the hill well left from the stile. Chapel well worth popping in.Smudge02/06/2015
Foul day from the onset. It did clear up a bit for a few hours, found a stalkers path from the chapel which made it easytallblond01/06/2015
Drove up as far as Laggan Lodge, then set off up pony tracks directly up the hillside into mist and light drizzle. From here, GPS navigation was required to reach summit. Returned in heavy rain.Topographer5703/05/2013

Cycled from Lochbuie car park following the plentiful signs for Laggan sands to the chapel at NM 627236 Nearby there is a rusty metal stile over the deer fence. From there is a choice of routes depending on your mood and whimsy. Nice views from the VanessMartin R22/04/2012

Revisit. Fine summit and view. Combined with Maol Ban. Descended ENE on a rough beeline, tussocky.RHW21/03/2008
Parked at stone circle car park at Lochbuie. To sea shore over iron deer fence stile and steeply up through bracken onto grass. Midges. Deer tracks led steeply up to a large area of open swamp, On gaining horizon found that top was 3/4 further est. Compass still unreliable. To top at 14.05. 2 grass snakes. Full refund on US GPS in Tobermory.arranc02/09/2006
