Parking at Green Wells of Scotland (NX 5574 9442). Through Garryhorn with mapped track then atv track leading well up on to Cairnsgarroch -> Meaul then continued along ridge to the 3 Bow tops -> Coran of Portmark -> Knockower -> Black Craig then dropped down to here over rough tussocky ground. On to Cullendoch Hill for a pleasant(ish) 20k walk.jonglew15/05/2021
Parked in layby on A713 at 525977 - Down track & over stile by locked gate next to power station - Over bridge & up forest tracks to high point at 504966 - Up over bilberry & some heather to unmarked summit. Continued to Black Craig. (S)gerrybowes18/06/2019
2nd hill of a North to mid ridge traverse. Lift from Carsphairn to Drumjohn then climbed as an out and back from forest track then used track to profile around before veering off to climb direct; summit located at edge with great views over Loch Doon. From Drumjohn. Up Craigencolon from nearly the high point of the road to the S. Back down same way and onto Cullendoch. Mostly up the firebreak S of hill but had to dodge some fallen trees.chrisbien23/03/2016
