Today myself and Hitman9956 enjoyed a 23km walk from Fairlie which included Blaeloch Hill (407m), Brown Hill (344m) and Kaim Hill (387m). The views over the islands and countryside were very good and we enjoyed the walk. This was a rough walk from the track but as this summit was so close we couldn't resist. A nice view over the reservoir. /Dmeltdiceburg26/08/2023

From the windfarm car park, following the wind farm track to where the slope on the right is retained by gabions, beyond which an initially narrow path leads to the summit. The Blae Loch lived up to its name today. I descended over the summit of Brown Hill and easily enough through grass and reeds to a fence into the field next to the A760, which has no barbed wire where a former gate leads to a three half-pipe bridge over a drainage ditch. Thence to the road and back.Nick Down110/04/2023
When I climbed Blaeloch Hill, Tumps hadn't been invented, and the wind farm wasn't there. Easy up the road, very wet underfoot thereafter.Minto25/06/2022

Solo. From the car park at the start of the wind-farm road on the A760. Up the wind-farm road to the high point of the road and then west to the summit of Blaeloch Hill. Descended on an old ATV track/bit of a path over White Knowes to the wind-farm road. Then north on rather rough ground to include Brown Hill. Excellent weather.pwbellarby29/09/2020

After a reasonable morning the weather turned nasty just as I parked up at layby to N - straight up & down the track in lashing cold rain.agentmancuso02/03/2019
From layby to N, though parking at windfarm equally easy, then up the windfarm track and across the bog with good views of Cumbrae and Bute, after being timekeeper at Victoria Park run.Thearlaichdubh01/01/2018

Bad enough doing a third visit to Blaeloch but I must be marginally crazy to claim this one again. I blame my companion, Chris PeartColin Crawford16/11/2017

Last hill of 6 today on a route from West Kilbride to Largs climbing Gill hill, Glenton hill, Caldron hill, Kaim hill and Blaeloch hill heading down and up to the summit. I couldn't See Brown hill at first until I Took a compass bearing. It merges with the landscape. Descent down western lower summit onto Track then over fence and again to mert Track But then diagonally over sheep-filled field to gate rigjt beside entrance/exit to Kelburn estate. Followed Track All the waym into Largs finishing at Whin park B&b on Douglas street.Dazingdale20/09/2016
