|6th hill of 11 today on a car tour from Ayr inc a re-visit to Craigie hill then Sornhill, Mauchline, Tarbeg and Raith hill. I parked on verge near field gate, about 100m from foresty gate. Used forestry track to access hillside then went to trig via the Witch's stone and then other 245 spot height. My altimeter was a tad higher at the trig. Profiled round to use forest track to return to minor road and car. Next hill:Lindston.||Dazingdale||07/05/2017|
|Parking was awkward for this one as a council lorry was filling the only likely spot by the junction. I had to settle for a spot half a mile north. Once through the gorse maze, it was an easy rough pasture stroll. My altimeter couldn't split the area around the trig from the 245m spot height to the east||Colin Crawford||09/02/2017|
