From the minor road. No cattle, too wet.Play2End08/04/2024
Parked at the Castle Semple Visitor Centre and followed the Semple trail. A beautiful day to take in Kenmure hill and the delights of the trail. A trip up to Broadfield hill from Howwood, following particularly muddy tracks, before taking the trail back to the car.Buck07/02/2024

5th tump of 6 today. Climbed Queen's Park from Queens Park station, Hurlet and Byrne from Niltshill and then train from Paisley Gilmour station to Howwood to climb Broadhead hill then taking the track that gives access to the Folly; as others visited the Folly knoll before climbing the true summit then steeply down to walk back on the road to take the next train to Milliken Park for Kilbarchan via Barr Hill....Dazingdale26/05/2018

I used to regularly cycle from Paisley to Lochwinnoch as a teenager when the cycle track was first opened in the mid '80s, and often though about coming up here, but never got round to it. Came up for a cache in the end.agentmancuso13/10/2010
