|1st of 5 tumps today on a very hot day, this from Bishopton station (via train from Port Glasgow)walking to Erskine then up to the compounded reservoir, highest points recorded on both the West and East sides but I walked around the reservoir twice, the second time noticing the trig pillar that is not situated at the summit. |From Kilpatrick railway station, over Erskine bridge, cross road at roundabout towards playing fields, then juked up through housing scheme to St John Bosco school, where joined tarmac path which takes you up to the mast and excellent views.
