A community event being held here meant that we were lucky to squeeze in to the car park.Nice hill.Good paths and views.ARM16/09/2023
Parked at the community carpark, easy walk to the top returning the same way.Fellhugger13/09/2023
From Dun Coillich community car park clockwise on green & white path, and white dot path to summit. Paths good, single file. Continued clockwise on green & white path to boardwalk in NW & connected straight to Schiehallion path. Straight up & down, back on board walk & back clockwise on boggy green path. Some well placed benches around Dun Coillich with great views of Schiehallion.Lynnebe12/07/2023
Parked in the community wood car park, very pleasant walk post wedding! 4km up and down in just over an hour...Nicky C17/02/2023
08.30 start after sitting out rain showers for half an hour. Up the community woodland path till at 400m having to turn up the grass & heather to the summit My 999 Marilyn and ready to do my 1000th in three hours time with Alan Dawson and Norman Wares Stayed dryvegibagger01/10/2022
As others, parked in the community woodland car park. Followed green/white trail branching off for summit. Returned via red trail. Unfortunately no time left to seek out the geographical centre of mainland Scotland site.Hirta01/09/2022

Up waymarked path from car park to SE.PeteF22/02/2022
Clockwise via waymarked footpath from Glengoulandie car park. Handy WC in shed at car park but needs 4-digit code for entry (not supplied)!willyross15/11/2021
Nice Autumn walk. Up to the summit via waymarked trail. Then around the other trails with a heather bashing detour to the Centre of Scotland.Fife Walking12/09/2021
Nightmarishly rough. Didn’t twig from reading beforehand that the nature trail path is circular. Wish I had turned left (south, roughly) after crossing the burn and joining the marked path, not right. Rounsfell22/08/2021
After Schiehallion before cycling back to Aberfeldy. Via waymarked paths from car park to SE.Mark Jackson20/08/2021
A good walk from the Dun Coillich Community car park, which is not easy to spot when coming from the N; the sign looks like a B&B advert! A nice easy grassy path, with white way markers at first, then green and white stripes, then white spots on green. Good scenery, still some wild flowers, blooming heather, bilberries and lots of bees.Gill19/08/2021
As others from community car park GR768529 on B846, then follow white and green route, then green route to summit. Great little hill with good views of Schiehallion and Farragon Hill. 2.5miles 1hr15 up and down the same way. Could make it longer by returning via a different trail.JulieB16/06/2021
From Dun Coillich community car park at NN768529. Followed gree and white marker posts rather too far (didn't see any track N towards summit), ended up ascending from ca NN757533 to W top (571m), across to main top (572m), descended S through a gully back to green and white markers and return to car park.kdbennett09/05/2021
From the Community car park, following marker posts (green and white to the southern shoulder of Dun Coillich, then green with white spots to just below the summit) along a good path spangled with primroses. A credit to the Highland Perthshire Communities Land Trust.Nick Down123/04/2021
Following way markers from carpark.Frannibaggins04/11/2020
From White Bridge. Following the green marked posts to about the 450m contour (slightly north of west from White Bridge) considerably reduces the necessary heather bashing.Owen B27/09/2020
From the community woodland car park at White Bridge crossed the burn via a lift gate and got onto a path marked with green painted posts. Followed this until North of the summit then waded through the heather to the top, which was pretty hard going to be honest. Retraced steps back to the car, with boots full of heather scraps!summitter20/09/2019
From White Bridge.Winterfloodian12/06/2019
From the N.E. Tough terrain. Great views. Nice day with Bob.Play2End29/12/2018
Solo. From Dùn Coillich Community Wood Carpark. Followed path marked with posts (green/white at top) south of summit to point SW of summit then over west top to main top of Dùn Coillich. Descended NE on rather rough ground to meet peat track. Followed this (posts green at top) to gate in new deer fence near White Bridge. Continued on W side of fence on route still marked by green topped posts back to carpark but this section is much vegetated. A beautiful sunny afternoon with excellent views of Schiehallion and many other peaks.pwbellarby04/09/2018
From Dun Coillich Community Car Park. Through removable section of deer fence, over burn and through gate in further deer fence. Turned right along path marked with green posts, followed around base of hill and up shoulder until it starts to drop down again. Turned left along faint track marked with yellow flags and followed within 50m of flags to the summit avoiding heather where possible.raffemeister30/08/2018
From Community Car Park. White post marks start of official route, a bit overgrown with nettles. Instead better path by dropping down from large cabin. Keep deer fence on your left up to gate, then pick up green & white posts. Good path until green posts with white dot (steep, heather) take you to top.PeteN25/08/2018
Started from Community CP up from chalet park. Good marked path swings round to left of hill but cut off to summit overgrown and deep heather everywhere. From summit,a marked path heads north and probably links with peat track which leaves from the Community gate just north of White bridge. I would try that next time, my route was rough and took 70 minsCoinneach22/08/2018
From community car park, very east ascent. over the bridge at the bottom of the CP, follow white posts, then green/white until you get to a green with white dot, then follow until near the top. Top protected by lots of heather, a faint path now appearing.Jhimmy31/03/2018
From Braes of Foss carpark. I stayed in the forest, keeping to its edge. It would have been better to go round its outside. Then some marker posts and heather to the top. Trees taking over.Alan Moore21/02/2018
From Schiehallion CP. Don't. Good track to the base of hill, cross deer fence, then nightmare terrain, not assisted by snow. Still, more exercise, which was the purpose of this route. Low cloud, cold but calm.iangalbraith18/02/2018
2 of 3: From B846 Dun Coillich CP.ChrisR25/01/2018
Started from white bridge. Footpath on map is blocked by new fence. Climb over it or take a faint track that takes you to a stile a km further on near the trees. Watch out on this hill for holes for new trees.tallblond14/11/2016
Enjoyable walk from Community Woodland CP with jonglewSteveG13/11/2016
From the car park to the SE. Round to the left, lost the marking posts but no problems, to the summit. Should have gone back the same way, but made a circuit clockwise. Unfortunately the ground NNW of the car park is very difficult walking, with concealed holes in the bracken/bog every few steps. It's been suggested that each hole was dug to provide earth for a newly planted tree, but I'm not convinced.Pete R27/07/2016
Superb sunny day, heathery slopesN.Morters19/03/2016
M J O. Ascent from community car park and south side of hill. Snow covering spongy heather higher up. Blue sky day with no wind. 800th Marilyn.Martin6628/02/2016
Follow the posts all the way up. Round the hill to the left. Good views.jenx03/02/2016
With Jenx and Will. From the CP at the community woodland. Followed the marked trail up, good path if a little circuitous. Came back more directly to Start point with a river crossing to manage.nordicstar03/02/2016
