Up forestry track, then direct to summit through high bracken. Return via memorial and Invercomrie track. Sunny, windy, rain threatening. En route north to see Malky. Rounsfell04/08/2022

Gill's route from the logging road gate east of the phone box in Bridge of Gaur. The ascent is a bit of a battle with bracken and bog, but the glorious views in all directions from the summit more than compensate. One to enjoy on a sunny afternoon.Nick Down115/10/2021
From Bridge of Gaur parked next to garage just over Bridge, walked up track to nearly highest point and followed ridge up using various animal tracks. Descended to higher track where Bridge crosses river to make a mini circuit. 3.5 miles 1hr 35 moving time with my little legs. 1 of 3 for the day.JulieB16/06/2021

Bonus Marilyn after the bike assisted Loch Ericht Corbett. Parked at the entrance to the plantation track (ESE of Bridge of Gaur). SW to Allt Chomraidh, the picked up a very faint path through grotty bracken, then grassier but rather squelchy higher up. Stunning views. Schiehallion, Glen Lyon hills, Bridge of Orchy hills, Ben Cruachan, Black Mount, Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, Mamores, Grey Corries, Loch Ossian hills, Ben Alder group, Loch Ericht to Loch Rannoch hills and beyond to the ENE. Returned via Invercomrie.Owen B23/09/2020
Parked beside gate of logging road. Up to bridge then alongside broken wall among chest high wet bracken then up through mixed ground to summit. Excellent views all around with cloud low down in glens. 1 of 3, back to bridge and across wet grass and heather to track for LeagagCoinneach20/09/2020

A sneaky little hill before the Corrour train. Parked in a lay by before the gate on the logging road east of the phone box; truck drivers very friendly. Up the east ridge of the hill from the bridge, a bit of bracken to begin, then deer tracks lead through interesting complex ground to the top. Down to the barracks track more easily on a clear but rough path. Fine views, nice hill.Gill16/08/2019
Reasonable parking at start of forest road, NN503565 (timber lorries exiting). Along track to bridge at NN493556, then along ruined wall behind Scottish Rights of Way signpost. Up N flank of grassy spur on signs of previous passage and through rock step band on R of main crags. Then rough grass to top.Isbjorn05/06/2019

Ascended from near bridge to East. Lots of bracken! Consider an alternative route or season!raffemeister12/09/2018
Meall Chomraidh & Legag starting from just E of Bridge of Gaur. Started ascent of The Meall from E, just N of bridge - some bracken bashing - super summit views - descent by ascent route. Crossed grassy land (approx ESE direction to join good track heading S) - approx E of Legag took a path (start marked by a cairn) for a few hundred meters, then pathless to summit - a fine hill (under Graham height but not less than 600m & a Ma). (12km, 590m).ger04/09/2018

Second of the days hills. Took a route up beside a dry stone wall and then walked around the side of a fence to find a faint path. On descending I found that the path led down to the track away from the fences and walls on the lower half of the hill.Buteobuteo25/05/2018

From nr bridge of gaur. Up one track back on the other. Much excavator work going on at the burn installing another hydro scheme. Dreadful mess everywhere but signs saying 'walkers have priority' faintly reassured. Direct up hill and back in just under the hour. Lovely views as others have said.nordicstar20/05/2016

Solo in glorious afternoon weather after a cold and misty morning. Used track from NN503565 where it is possible to park. Struck up hillside from track junction at NN493556 going NW to start with to avoid crags. Deer tracks are a help through the bracken on the lower slopes. On return used track via Invercomrie. Both outward and return tracks are rights of way.pwbellarby17/10/2015
