Normal route from south end of Loch Seil. Note that the path on the NE side of the fence from 797212 is very faint and (in summer) hard to see under bracken, but that there is a track from a gate at 795213 which leads all the way to the summit, via the 150m ring contour at 399215Clive G12/08/2021

After Beinn Clachan. NE to reach track coming up from Dubh Loch. Track to first dip beyond its high point, then up right across fence (top barbed strand currently moved away, but second barbed strand in place), up and NE to reach summit. Down east, across fields and past Ardnahua, to reach Barnacarry approach road, making for Beinn Bhàn. A warm sunny afternoon with extensive views including Mull, Cruachan, and the Appin hills from an unfamiliar angle.mainnirnamfiadh19/04/2016

By tracks from parking space at south end of Loch Seil. A herd of cattle stared unwelcomely but that was all. A sign stating "Foot and Mouth precautions, no access to farmland" had been quite properly tossed aside.Topographer5726/03/2013
