P in large area for bins at the end of the tarmacked road. Enter field through gate just before gate to house in wood. Path follows the outside edge of wood. Visited both likely tops. | chrisbien | 21/05/2019 |
From NNE, lane leading to Whitchesters Farm, took RH branch at end, parked by large house. Knocked on door, no reply. Side of wood then field to fine memorial cairn with black granite top to Nan Lyle and Scouts. On return got a right earful from the lady of the house: 'Private property, absolutely no parking there'. | Aye Jimmy | 02/01/2019 |

Waymarked path from Whitchesters farm. Top on the mound south of the cairn. I met Nan Lyle on a couple of her TGO Challenges. A splendid lady, of whose wider activities I was quite unaware. A worthy memorial | Colin Crawford | 30/11/2017 |
Good walk out to view Nan Lyle cairn | Greevee | 26/05/2013 |
