A walk round the park to the non man made high point as far as it's possible to tell.Lynnebe29/12/2023
Starting in East Kilbride a day of tumps by bus pass! Found out about some of the history of Springburn Park, had a tour around the Men's Shed and discovered the existence of disc golf.sarahk27/01/2023
Had a good walk around the park but unsure if I had walk over the HP or not.Andrew Simmons18/10/2022

Walked it from the Pond. A nice view south to Tinto.colazione04/11/2021
With dziadzio and Jack. Managed to get into the enclosure. Higher ground but probably not natural.sophiabien17/08/2021
A wander around the park. Views of Glasgow hampered by a huge downpour whilst I searched for the high point.Buck03/07/2021
Difficult to tell where the true top of the hill was but parked outside the park and walked around the council compound.JAdair9728/04/2021

Glasgow Central - Ruchill - Springburn Park - Queen’s Park - Glasgow Central: cheeky bike ride on a 5hr wait between trains at Glasgow taking a bike back from the Highlands. Nice that all three tops were in public parks.Mark Jackson24/08/2019
Roadside parking near one of the park entrances (NS 6118 6829).jonglew04/05/2019
Parked near New Stobhill Hospital and entered park. Wandered around visiting all likely 'summits'. Heavy rain, no views=back to car.Jubilado20/12/2018
From Brookfield Rd entrance. Another pleasant Victorian park.Campbell Singer19/10/2018
Walked from Broomfield Road to the statue of James Reid and around the compound. Either the bank behind the rubbish tip or, more pleasantly, the bank planted with trees on the Broomfield Road side seem highest.Nick Down130/07/2018
My 5th tump and final tump of the day and the one that completed Glasgow Ua, having climbed Craigend Hill, Douglas Park, Cairn Hill and Ruchill, I took the train from platform 9, Queen street alighting at Springburn station, then easily up to the park. Highest point appears to be at the intersection of the fenced reservoir compound and the Rubbish area (also enclosed but open on this day). Nice looking park. Descent back to the station to take the next train to Queen Street and then I walked to Glasgow Central, arriving about 20 mins before my train's scheduled departure.Dazingdale28/05/2018
Warm up for parkrunquadbarrel06/01/2018
Walked up from Glasgow Central station. About 4 miles (the way I went). Top seems to be by rubbish tip in compound, which was open. Views= not much. Last Glasgow Tump.Andrew Pearson28/11/2017
Visited Springburn and Ruchill while waiting for Ben to be groomed!hillsman14/07/2017

Like everyone else, couldn't identify the exact highest point. Somewhere just inside the compound I think.hillsman09/09/2016
High point looked like giant compost heap within fenced area. Walked round all possible high points on outside of fence.russell6104/08/2016
Walked from my flat via Clarence Dr, Hyndland Rd, Byres Rd, Queen Margaret Dr, Bilsland Dr, Hawthorn St, Campsir St, Hillhouse St to entrance to Springburn Park. Having walked round the council Depot and reservoir and admired the statue of Sir James Reid, and been unable to climb into the council depot, I would say that the highest natural point is 20m to the left of the top of the carpark access road. Glad I did Ruchill with its panoramic views on the way back even though I could see little due to the rain.Thearlaichdubh24/07/2016
Walked around all the possible high points. visited statue. Probably by gate to compound.PeterD16/07/2016
Parked on Broomfield Rd. HP near 1903 statue of James Reid.arranc11/06/2016
Parked by Broomfield Road gate and walked around the duckpond and the parkies' compound.neimcv01/10/2015
Parked to the east for a trip around this top with its cover reservoir and Springburn Depot including a visit to James Reid's statue.Dugswell227/05/2015
Least interesting of the 4 Glasgow tops. Came in fron SE gate. Felt that HP could be 611685 at edge of park rubbush dump, next to reservoir fence. Back home to Manchester at 1700 after a 475 mile 4 tump day in perfect sunshine.GordonAdshead16/04/2015

Ground behind statue of John Reid, NS 60983 68532, appears to be natural top although manmade bank, behind fence, is higher.Ramblingpaul02/12/2014
From S, Broomhill Road opposite Cornhill Street. Agree with others about summit location. Didn't see any natives, as it was nearly pitch dark.Minto15/11/2014
Inside the fence may be slightly higher but levels are man made. Sunny, calm, nippy, storm passed, good views all round the park. Natives friendly here also.iangalbraith14/11/2014
Highest natural point appeared to be E of fenced-off area, by park dumping point.agentmancuso10/05/2014
Decent park but not the most salubrious summit. With Andrew Tibbetts and party on the morning of his wedding!RHW19/10/2013
Top seems to be a rubbish tip beside the fenced off areachrisbien20/07/2013
Did a lap around the outside of the reservoir/park works compound. Difficult to tell where the natural summit lies. Sub-zero temperatures. Impressive hoar frost and signficant lying snow.campagvelocet22/12/2010
