I walked from Glendhoo campsite in early evening and asked one of the remaining golfers if it was okay to proceed. His attitude was very healthy - no problem at all, it's just a golf course! ten minutes from clubhouse to trig and the rewards of superb views | Colin Crawford | 07/09/2023 |
At dusk, parked in ungated King Edward’s Bay Golf Club carpark , seeing a few people in the Golf club but none on the golf course. Headed uphill from by the golf shop keeping to the edge of the various tees etc til we saw the obvious white trig on top. Seemed to be at or close to HP. Fantastic views of the curving Douglas Bay illuminated by twinkling lights. Noted extensive gorse on the east side which we had considered as an approach. Returned same way-<20 minutes total | Denise | 28/09/2022 |

Parked in the club car park after dark, CH was noisy, but not much activity on the fairways. Trig pillar likley the HP, but dark so couldn't be certain. | jonglew | 10/12/2021 |

2nd and final tump of the day on a 11km route, first climbing Cronk ny Mona then scrambling in the upper reaches of Groudle River to follow paths through Molly Quirks Glen, Bibaloe Glen and Groudle Glen but then having to track West on a footpath before I could take a track through the estate to reach the clubhouse. I followed the 'rough' edges and walked up to the Trig and a few metres around it, recording 128m @ SC 41432 78138. This tump completed Isle of Man County (for a short while at least). Descent via urban roads back into Douglas celebrating my achievement in a coffee shop before catching the 3pm ferry back to Liverpool. | Dazingdale | 22/07/2018 |
From golf club house on a wild and windy late evening with not a golfer on the course. Pristine trig and good view over Douglas Bay. | JohnIvor | 29/06/2017 |

From Club House after rain before golfers got started. | jimbloomer | 14/04/2013 |
Parked at golf club and just walked up. Wet and windy weather ensured no golfers were on the course but weather was beginning to cheer up. Climbed with Jim Bloomer and Michael Earnshaw.
