A rough heathery route in comparison to the easy paths on the main top. I then circled round the east side of the island to be collected by the Shona at South HarbourColin Crawford01/09/2023
Landed at South Harbour by Steve Clague, boat man,Port St Mary. Path some of the way then thick heather to small cairn. Continued to Island HP. Clear views on sunny day.Denise 24/09/2022
From South Harbour, on grassy tracks through bracken and heather initially, then through it. On to the island summit.jonglew24/09/2022

There is a grass track to the north of the hill which takes you very near the summit (currently closed). Came up through trackless heather from main islan road. Down by the grass track just mentioned. Solo.Dangerous Dave07/05/2022
Not such easy walking on this one!jenx08/08/2019
Pretty rough going once off mapped track - close packed heather and brackencarole engel04/09/2018
1st tump of 5 today, first a drop-off by Stephen on a pre-arranged Special Trip but I was met by Aron the bird warden who was kind enough to drive me to both the tops on the Calf of Man in his Subaru all-terrain vehicle so we headed off the tracks through the bracken and heather. A great black-backed gull made its nest on the summit this year!. I recorded 111m @ SC 16119 65920, having walked about 30m to check out another potential high point only to decide it wasn't as high!. We continued to the Calf of Man top....Dazingdale18/07/2018
