| Parked next to post box in parking area opposite chapel at 939447; this area is used as a turning circle for vehicles from E. that are unable to turn left at junction - ESE down lane to gate on bend & then SW on RoW to lane below farm (footbridge & 2 stiles) - Through farmyard, up track to high point & then WSW over sheep pasture to gate at 933437 - W. to a 5 strand wire fence & then over rough pasture to summit. | An anticlockwise circuit of 4 Deweys and a revisit to Foel Goch from the parking area by the gate at SH 962 394. Visited 11 summits in total: Pen Coed-y-bedo, Bryn Bras, Orddu, Pen y Cerrig-serth, Foel Goch, Garnedd Fawr, Cerrig y Gordref, Y Gesail, Pen y Bwlch Gwyn, Moel Emoel, and Garw Fynydd. | Parked by the chapel at 93881 44715, back a short way along the B4501 then fairly straight to Y Gesail and across to Cerrig y Gordref keeping a bit right to avoid unnecessary descent.. To return I headed east to the row and after the farm went left. This path peters out and there is a fence and brook crossing but you can see the chapel and it is not difficult. 3.63 miles, 1h 36. | clivevilla | 02/07/2021 |
