From Moel Seisiog. Rough going around 400 metres contour. Grand viewpoint. Took 400 metre contour as route back to track, then down good track to car at reservoir east of Nebo. Three white wild ponies near top. | Campbell Singer | 14/07/2021 |
Up from track to the SW initially to Alex's freshly painted primrose trig... Then across the grassy, heathery Moor to this 448m. summit to the east. | vegibagger | 13/07/2021 |
Parked at 84128 56377 and went to Penbryn-ci then across to Moel Seisiog and back to the car. 4.73 miles. | clivevilla | 07/05/2021 |
With Rufus from lay-by on A543 at SH 90126 54956. Through gate in lay-by and across reasonably good terrain to the summit of Pen yr Orsedd. West to track and followed it south to a short ascent to summit of Moel Rhiwlug. Followed fence NW to unnamed summit at SH 87966 55789 (challenging bog crossing at low point) and crossed fence to pick up a faint track that almost reaches the summit of Penbryn-ci. Returned same way but skirted under Moel Rhiwlug and from the gate on the bridle way track I contoured around to the road and lay-by. 2.5 hours with great views of the Carneddau. | jacobrichmond | 15/03/2020 |
Contoured round from Moel Seisiog, rough in places but at least all the bog was dry. Four shy wild ponies seen, three grey one brown. | Aye Jimmy | 08/07/2018 |

From Moel Seisiog. Some helpfully sited gates on the way. Very wet in places and best to stick to the high ground. Returned towards Seisiog and picked up eastern farm track, though this is much poorer than the other. | milimana | 15/09/2017 |
From Nebo. | jrj | 06/07/2017 |
Continuation of walk from Pen yr Orsedd. Walked over Moel Rhiwlug (barbed wire fences to climb) and then rough going through heather up to significant cairn. Walk continued to Moel Seisiog. | Man of Kernow1 | 29/06/2014 |
