Pre-pub evening ramble with Wedgy from Llanuwchllyn. Taking in Lledwyn Mawr, Foel Figenau and Moel Maes-y-llech. Lots of sheep. ROWs pretty much non-existent. | summitter | 29/05/2022 |
https://www.strava.com/activities/5913808556 forestry track at Coed Tyn-y-Fedw, through felled forest would be easiest route. | Sleepwa1ker | 05/09/2021 |
From Rhyd y Bod (SH 89047 27439), where there is room to park two cars on the road. Took the RoW up behind Talardd steeply, then made a bee-line for the summit. Solo. Onwards to Cefn Coch. | Man of Kernow1 | 17/12/2019 |
4/5 (Foel Caer'r-hafotty/Lledwyn Mawr/Foel Figenau/Moel Maes-y-Llech/Llechwedd Llyfn) | Fergalh | 14/01/2018 |
A cheeky discreet park by Tyn y Fedw then up forest track. At 2nd bend across fence into rushes. Climb up to top easy enough. What a spot. The view into the heart of the Aran is stunning. | stig_nest | 16/06/2016 |
Combined with a round of 4 Deweys. Parked, as others, at Rhyd y Bod Fearm. | clivevilla | 12/08/2015 |
Parking possible by Rhyd-y-bod farm. Lledwyn Mawr, Foel Figenau, Cefn Coch (plenty of rough pathless heather) Foel Tyn-y-fron (relentless pathless heather) Moel Maes-y-llech (right of way through forest is obliterated but was able to detour through new plantation to SW as far as track then over felled section to point where public right of way emerges from the forest). | ijpowell | 16/07/2015 |
Done at the end of a round of the four Aran Deweys east of the main ridge. | chriswatson | 11/07/2014 |
