With Rufus from Road end SH62899 34242. Followed track E for a couple of hundred metres before attempting to follow track to left which turned out to not really exist on the ground. Bog hopped, stream hopped and dry stone wall-hopped curving from E to N towards the summit. A tricky final dry stone wall was difficult to get over due to high barbed wire but got over it eventually. Cloud inversion on Rhinog Fawr and snow on Yr Wyddfa.jacobrichmond22/11/2022
Circuit of Northern Rhinogs, starting from small woodland walks car park at SH626366. Took footpaths by Garth-byr, Coetty-mawr to eventually reach open hillside and climb Moel y Geifr. Descent to Llyn Eiddew-mawr and continued on W side. Continued SSE and eventually climbed the rough ridge to reach Clip. Continued along the ridge to Craig Ddrwg, Corn-y-stwc [Craig Ddrwg North Top], Moel Ysgyfarnogod, the two tops of Foel Penolau (the first requiring some care), Moel y Gyrafolen, Craig y Gwynt. Return by path running W to reach minor road via Caerwych, then path through woodland at Ceunant Coch to start. Some rough terrain and paths not always clear and some overgrown with bracken.RobertP29/07/2022

Parked at the end of the road above Eisingrug. Visited Bryn Cader Faner first, then decided Foel Ysgyfarnogod was too much for the baby. So over to Moel y Geifr past Llyn Caerwych. Tremendous views.huwthomas30/07/2020
