Parked in Rachub and walked up High St and Mountain Lane to reach ROW. Went off piste to aim for top as couldn't find a path. Ridiculously windy on top- could hardly stand !Mark Sims15/04/2019
3rd top of 9 on a 22.5km route from the Aber Falls car park with Adrian, climbing Moel Wnion and Gyrn before descending and reascending over Llefn and then steeply to the Bwlch ym Mhwll-le, West to the summit area then onto the true summit. From Bont Newydd near Abergwyngregyn (SH 66485 71904) - Moel Wnion - Gyrn - Moel Faban - Gyrn Wigau. From start back towards Abergwyngregyn then took public footpath at SH 65770 72460. Direct ascent of Moel Wnion via Ffridd Ddu. Boggy in parts between Moel Faban and sheepfold at SH 64391 67104. Return to start via flank of Moel Wnion then North Wales Path to Aber Falls.david23020118/09/2016
