Continuation of walk from Bryn Ocyn. Followed RoW north-east down to lane-head at Penrhos, then down to T-junction. Then followed lane north-west and north steeply up, diverting onto a green lane west just before the lane junction. At its highest point left it to climb steeply up using sheep tracks to summit. To descend, followed sheep tracks south-east down the ridge to join the green lane again at SJ 03374 59550 - a much better route to/from the summit. Returned by the lanes past Tai-isaf to Cyffylliog. A fine area, worth visiting. Solo Nordic walk in fine weather. | Man of Kernow1 | 08/05/2016 |
