5th hill of 9 on a 20km circuit from Llanarmon yn-lal to Gwernymynydd. Descending from Moel Llanfair through the woodland and tkaing the fp that drops down to the B6430 then a path through a private estate, that had me wondering where it had gone but passing next to a high fence and conifers I emerged and was able to find the churned up path that heads East if Bryn Haidd. I veered off where the limestone cliffs allowed an easy climb up and crossed over to the summit. Finally I decided to have a break, coffee and sandwiches. Pretty tired as it had been many weeks that i had done anything this strenuous. AFter a short break i continued to Bryn Alyn...Dazingdale27/01/2024
Walked across from Bryn Alyn on FPs, from road end followed FP on track to the north and then over fence to top.PeterD11/08/2022

From stone building, first over the Bryn Alyn knolls, then returning for a quick there and back bag up the track. We used the stile 60m WSW of the building to access the track to the top- good viewpoint. Private sign, but I'm sure what they most want to stop is people walking to the house, way to the S of the hilltop, which is skirted below on the RoW from the stile. With Pete.pwheeler23/03/2022
Parked to E. on grass by stone building at SJ 1984 5826. As RichardM - N. down track for about 20m, through the 2 gates & over stile on left to join stone track (this avoids getting over the meshed locked gate) - Along track & then a short climb to to summit outcrop. (S)gerrybowes12/03/2022
Pleasant - limestone outcrop in grassy sheep pasture accessed from row to N. parked on verge in road nearby; first of 5 tump round trip.Denise 10/12/2021
From road end to E. We take the most northerly of the 2 gated tracks then stile over fence on LHS to gain unhindered access (apart from a sign) to summit area of sheep grazed grass and limestone outcrops. Great views, nice hill.RichardM10/12/2021

From top of Old School Lane. Great views for small hill.Campbell Singer21/04/2021
This is a fine hill. I took the RoW from SSE at Nant and diverted off it over open pasture to the high point. On the way down to the east I saw a sign asking people to stay on the RoW.Alan Moore12/04/2021
Parked by a stone building at 19845 58264, over the gate and along the track before heading to the summit on the right.clivevilla08/12/2020

Gate then easy track from ENE.Aye Jimmy19/11/2017
After Mynydd Ddu. Lane from Erryrys, then GA route to excellent limestone summit. Good viewpoint - unusual angle to view Moel Gyw and Moel Llanfair.JohnIvor24/01/2017
Continuation of walk from Bryn Alyn. Took RoW east, then joined Clwydian Way south to lane. Then north-west on lane, and by gate to the summit on the new gravel track to the aerial. To return, retraced steps to lane, following it down (now a track) to another lane, following this north-east to rejoin my outward route. Solo.Man of Kernow106/08/2016
As per Gordon after Bryn Alyn. More great views of Clwydians and beyondMark Sims03/11/2015
