Three Arch Bridge - Loch an t-Siob' - Beinn Shiantaidh - Beinn an Oir - Beinn a' Chaolais - Loch an t-Siob' - Three Arch Bridge. Perfect sunny day. Boggy below 200m. Just over 6 hours.davidpettit8408/11/2019

Superb Paps hill walk. Initially with Bolton & CJM, then with CJM to Beinn Shiantaidh, Beinn an Oir & Beinn a'Chaolais. Fine weather - a superb walk over fantastic quartzite hills.ger13/09/2019
Round of Corrabheinn, Shiantaidh and Oir from start of Evans path. It looks forbidding from all sides, but from Corrabheinn col, I followed an effective path up and around to the south face, then ascended steeply on short heather, only encountering scree near the top. Down the west face, scree at first onto a shoulder, from where a rough path leads safely down through the steep crags.Topographer5711/06/2019
With MVW from Bridge after cycle from Craighouse, then onto NE ridge Beinn Shiantaidh, very laborious scree to summit. then onto Beinn an Oir which was pleasant in comparison. Clear warm day with cool wind. Return via lock and same route back to bikes.Frank09/04/2019
7.35 ferry from Islay. Followed the standard walkhighlands Paps of Jura route. 7 hours 40 minutes, plenty of time for the ferry back. Weather played ball, dry, mild, almost calm, cloud just touching the tops occasionally.Owen B20/08/2018

Zero visibility above 500m. Tough.Arbie30/06/2017
6th hill of 7 today on a circular route from the Three -arched bridge outside Knockrome, climbing Cnuic Charrach, Bheinn Mhearsmail South top, Bheinn Mhearsmail, Beinn Chaolais and Beinn an Oir, descending North via a combination of scree, bilberry/heather and boulderfields. I didnt spot any obvious path up so worked my way up till a path emerged. Great summit. Tricky descent but found a path to profile round snd descend to the lochs just South of Corra Bheinn, my final hill of the day.Dazingdale07/05/2017
From Corra Bheinn. Ascent much easier than expected on good path. Summit and view surpassed high expectations. On to Ben an Oir.Wycombe Wanderer24/04/2017
Ferry from Islay. Beinn Shiantaidh, Beinn an Oir, Beinn a'Chaolais from E, starting at old bridge. Day started bright and sunny but clouded over - still some fantastic views. 8.5h, back in plenty of time for ferry back to mainland.RobertP04/04/2017

With Jenx, used Evans Path (poor and wet, indistinct across moor) to gain slopes of Corra Bheinn. Down the paps path and skirted lochans to path heading up flank of Spionlaidh. Back same way and the 'path' back to start. Stunning fay with 50+ mile views.nordicstar18/08/2015

Clear path (if very wet and boggy) from the three bridges start point (NR 54485 72035) upto and beyond Loch an t-Siob, after which it petered out and the upper slopes were an interesting scramble, easy enough though, but coming back down was more fun! My book had the start further along A846 at NR 55014 73148, but was advised not to do it from there - can't comment as we didn't. Top half of mountain in cloud, cleared for us as we were going up the corbett, so a great view of this one, but no view from it.jonglew11/06/2014
With: hb aw cs; Parked in carpark by track to Glen Batrick. Followed track 1ml then cut across moor to Beinn Shiantaidh. Met Alan Whatley & Campbell Singer coming up ridge from Loch an t-Siob. Met two runners as we descended to bealach.Ian Baines20/05/2014

from C Bheinn. Gently down on a faint path to cross a large rocky bealach with 6 or 7 lochans around to SE slopes of RP. Rising path possibly made by deer up through heather to foot of first scree run at 1400' Clamber up heather on all fours at average roof angle onto scree then large rocks, more scree and more rocks then more scree to top at 13.45. Pile of stones seemed to be a continuation of the hill. B an Oir, sea, Colonsay, Scrinadle, Ben More, D Bheinn, B Bhreac, Cruachan, Stob Odhar, Arran, Small Isles bay, Mull of Kintyre, G Bheinn, Islay and B Chaolais. 7 hrs back to car.arranc03/05/2007
