Parked to NNW, where there is space for a few cars. Along FP initially then up to top. Nice little hill with good views.PeterD02/04/2023
From nnw where tthere is good parking and gentle walk across managed common land. To top for very fine views.Campbell Singer10/02/2022
Grassy rock outcrop on east side of ridge ( not fort) with superb patchwork field views on breezy sunny day. Access from village carpark in Dolanog, start of Ann Griffiths trail ( Welsh hymn writer 1776-1805)Denise 11/08/2019
From path crossing E shoulder. Both summit rises visited. Rock breaking through grass/bracken/gorse. Great views. Sheep grazing. Spots of rain in the W wind.RichardM11/08/2019
From WSW, paths to summit. Highest tops at E end then back over lower tops and steeply back to path, the bracken a significant obstacle even in March.RHW26/03/2017
From the chapel car park in Dolanog. Straightforward bag although steepish. The ford looked completely impassable today.clivevilla09/03/2017
Driving down from Ffridd Llwydiarth to be suddenly confronted with this beastie was a bit demoralising. But then I reminded myself -youre a hillwalker Stig, man up!.. So drove into free carpark in Dolanog and following the Glyndwr way up very clear path. A lot of bracken clearing work goes on up here and its a credit to whoever does it because it really shows the hill off. Several humps and bumps but highest clearly not the fort. Made a more direct descent.stig_nest11/05/2016
