7 munros of Ben Lawers range. Started at Lochan na Lairige, ended at Ben Lawers hotel | hummusg | 17/06/2021 |
A fine traverse of the Ben Lawers ridge from west to east, starting from the NTS car park. Visited Beinn Ghlas, Ben Lawers, Creag an Fhithich, An Stuc, Meall Garbh, and Meall Greigh. As I was solo with just the one vehicle, I had to return along the access road for the water intakes and then traverse across open country under Ben Lawers and Beinn Ghlas. 25km with 1600m of ascent in 9 hours. Beautiful day on the hills. Nice little round of 5 starting at meal greigh and finishing with beinn ghlas. Definitely ones to return to (and now i've looked at the map a Munro top to boot, no wonder the path goes over a random lump!) | Nicky C | 28/09/2019 |

Part of walk up to Ben Lawers. I guess this explains why the path up to Ben Lawers goes over a lump that could easily have been avoided by weary legs | Canny | 27/07/2019 |
