From the road to the NE. Wonderful hills especially as they are only T2s. | clivevilla | 25/10/2023 |
From lay-by / picnic table (SH6503007572) a round of six Tumps. | BaggerGutt | 08/12/2022 |
A good track from Llanllwyda gave quick access to the Birds' Rock(s), then a series of ROWs and field crossings to take in Pen Rhiwerfa and Pen Coed-y-gof. Finally, we doubled back to climb Gamallt from the west, via sheep and cow fields then following edge of the forest. Returned NW along the ridge before dropping to a ROW back to the start. | summitter | 31/05/2022 |

Pleasant ascent from Birds' Rock campsite and onto main summit, distinctive rocky sides. Easy scrambling possible. Impressive for a tump. Great views, sunny spells. Choughs. | Denise | 14/05/2021 |
From the camp site, great little hill with a few Seagulls, Choughs and Cormorant. Fine view. | RichardM | 14/05/2021 |
From the parking area near Llanllwyda. Hardly any birds as wrong season but still a great place to go. | Alan Moore | 31/07/2020 |

Route: Bwlch-y-maen – Birds Rock NW Top – Birds’ Rock – Bwlch-y-maen. Stats: 1hr05, 2.8km, 160m ascent. Weather: hot & sunny. Notes: cut leg on barbed wire near summit of Bird’s Rock NW Top (no first aid kit); ascent from east, descent to south; met TG & OC by chance on col between two hills & they walked with me for rest of route. | millionmts | 13/07/2018 |
Excellent timing with the best weather of the day right in time for my Gwynedd Tump completion with Adrian. | Alex C | 26/05/2018 |

This is called Craig yr Aderyn. It isn't Birds' Rock any more than Mont Blanc is White Mountain. | willias | 19/05/2018 |

Fine sunny day can`t remember exact route. Spent ages trying to photograph the cormorants flying in to their nests below. | mart0797 | 19/03/2006 |
with Pete, one of several short walks on a day of low cloud. Before we knew about Tumps, but this exciting hill was definitely one we heard about. Dramatic scenically and living up to its name with many birds. No problem leaving the ROW to visit HP- the access informal in those days. | pwheeler | 17/07/1995 |
