| Parked at Golfa Farm. Farmer said RoW diverted 20 years ago during footnmouth.Really? Took some coaxing to get permission to head for summit - used my ploy of 'I am trying to bag all the hills in whatevershire, and this is my penultimate one'. Works every time. Good job I didn't offer him my opinion of the calves trapped in tiny cages, demonstrating the cruelty of milk-production. | Parked to s.w. at wide entrance to Golfa farm. Up road and into thinly planted woods, a new pheasant enclosure is going up. As the top field is not far from the track i opted to blast straight up and over the b/w fence so unsure if track is clear to the wood edge.
