From the golf club car park, along the left hand side and behind the green stepped over a bwf. Up from there and came straight down the pasture which was easier but involved stepping over a fence into the car park which might not be great if starting off.clivevilla31/01/2023
Friendly permission given to park in clubhouse car park. Told I was a welcome to play a round, I gave the Winston Churchill response. First fence easy, second fence pipe insulation would be handy.Martin R14/06/2022
As Rob 50. Parked in wooded area by golf club gate at SJ 1164 5562 - Around back of club house to entrance into wood by top practice green, turned left along woodland path for about 20m & then straddled hurdle into higher field (barbed wire above hurdle lifts off) - Up over sheep pasture to gateway in NW corner of field & then a short climb to summit. Friendly golfers used to walkers. (S)gerrybowes11/02/2022
Parked in golf club cp. Over bwf into field and then over another bwf just before top. 10 minutes up and down.Campbell Singer06/05/2021
Only one gardener in the Club House: happy to let me park. Interested to find there really is a path running up the inside of the forest. However I made the mistake of keeping to this path up to its high point. It took me 4 attemps to cross back into the field twarted by very dense thorn bushes. Ideal crossing point is about a quarter of the way along the first field and into a very pleasant bit of pasture running up to the cross fence and nice top.GordonAdshead17/09/2020
Walked round back of Golf club house and round the edge of top green to step over small barrier into the woods. Followed path a few yards to left then out of wood over gate back into next field. Gateway on left of bwf to take you into top field.Rob5009/07/2019
Via path thru' golf club to S. Narrow single track road to CP - gate locked from dusk. Was not open 7.30am but was by 8am on my return. The two tops were of a very similar height - would need an accurate surveycarole engel21/11/2018
Parked near entrance to golf course and warning sign for golf balls. Over gate on left into soggy pasture, bwf at top but fallen tree for aid.Aye Jimmy26/01/2018
