Parked in pull-in just outside entrance to the residential area. Walked up main thoroughfare and found grassy rise and Trig pillar, in its ivy disguise is close by. Off to Caergwrle afterwards for a 3 tump circular. | Dazingdale | 11/02/2024 |
Through the gates with the intention of asking permission but no one around. | johnbarnard25 | 11/10/2022 |

Parked near junction for quick visit, gates were open. | PeterD | 11/08/2022 |
Parked in front of an old iron field gate, a few metres E. of junction at SJ 2572 6075. Electric gates were open & Denise's detailed log was very helpful in quickly locating the summit & trig point by oil tank. Thanks for that. | gerrybowes | 14/05/2022 |
Large electric gates were open so we walked down Windover' drive and met owner gardening. He willingly showed us trig location and Hp is nearby. Fork left as you enter drive but don't go to drive way of left hand house. Trig is on left hand side of central track, hidden behind an oil tank and next to a low wall about level with left hand house.HP on other side of track by tree ? What is natural. Cut mark on external gatepost. | Denise | 29/01/2022 |
Gate to driveway open and friendly owner of house on the rhs happy for us to visit the trig pillar and directed us to it. Highest ground is grassy rise ~20m to S in trees but seems very likely to be 'landscaped work' | RichardM | 29/01/2022 |
Parked at the road junction, up the driveway towards Windover then forked left and HP appears to be on the verge there. I did not see a trig but did not look hard as there were builders about. | clivevilla | 08/12/2020 |
High point appears to be between the two houses underneath a large tree. Nobody about to ask. | Campbell Singer | 05/11/2019 |
Had a look in fields on both sides of road but road bankings seemed as high. Then asked permission at Windover and was escorted to the trigpoint which stands between the houses. You look down on the trig from the track which passes by a few metres away, which seems as high as anywhere. Unable to spend as much time as I'd have liked to check this out. | Aye Jimmy | 26/11/2017 |
