From the car park by the bridge on Catacol Bay. Took the path south up Glen Catacol, then the dreadful bouldery apology-for-a-path up Gleann Diomhain through the nature reserve to the bealach. Then very steep ascent to the summit plateau, visiting all three HPs. Return by outward route. With RP. 13.7km, with 600m of ascent.Man of Kernow106/09/2023
Beinn Tarsuinn, Beinn Bhreac, Beinn Bhiorach and Meall Mor from Lochranza.Chris Peart06/07/2023

Kong MM Day 2. Beinn Bhreac, Beinn Tarsuinn.Geoff Briggs28/08/2022
From the Lochranza Centre up the lovely Gleann Biorach before heading directly to the summit from Loch na Davie with Dangerous Dave. Typical Arran blue skies, a breeze to keep the bugs away and glorious views. North to the Tumps and Humps.bolton20/06/2022
Took the lovely path along Gleann Easan Biorach from Lochranza then up heathery SE slopes to the summit. Great views southeast to the Corbetts. With bolton.Dangerous Dave20/06/2022
Perhaps the slowest ever ascent of Beinn Bhreac due to recovery from Bacillus cereus-contaminated food (the most likely cause of pure emesis). A lovely easy hill with splendid views, although the same cannot be said of the noxious shite fest of a path up Gleann Diomhan. To avoid returning on the path, I returned via Beinn Bhiorach, surprisingly attractive for a mere Tump, and the more pancake-like Creag na h-Iolaire. The descent down the ridge above the Abhainn Bheag is quite exciting if you haven't got a clue whether it's feasible or not. The key to the craggy bit was a short slot to slither down with a handy sapling near the bottom.Gill08/04/2022
After Islay ferry cancelled, day trip to Lochranza. Up Gleann Eason Biorach path. Easy going on dry ground following prolonged dry spell. Over Beinn Tarsuinn to Meall Nan Damh.N.Morters29/03/2022
Arran Mountain Festival walk, along with Beinn Bhiorach, Meall Mor and Cnoc Leacainn Duibhe. Via Glen Catacol then Gleann Diomhan.DavieRuts16/05/2021
From Beinn Tarsuinn and then on to Meall Mor. Pleasant going. A important hill for me as it was my last GB 500m Hump. I've been working my way down through the Humps but I don't think I'll bother going out of my way for the lower ones. Though I've enjoyed my Hump bagging, the lower ones are less interesting and it has become increasingly difficult to make decent hill days on the lower ones. I am now going to do all the contour rings over 800m and all the scrambles in the scramble booksAlan Moore13/05/2019

Camped on the summit. Spectacular day, roughly 24 degrees weather. Also, it never fully got dark during the night because of the full moon.RichardMurchie26/06/2018
From Catacol up Gleann Diomhan to summit then back again. Made sure to stand on the summit rock that is clearly the high point.Chris Mac26/05/2018
Far Too late start up this last of four, the Marilyn at south in cloud and occasional rain and knew I'd run of of light. Oops foolish and tried to stumble down too much hillside in semi dark. On col skidded sideways and fell in the dark on the mud and cracked my head on a rock. Head torch didn't work. Fortunately torch on phone lasted two and a half hours down the hill with still 25%battery remaining.vegibagger21/11/2017
Weather conditions pretty much as good as you could really ever expect for November in Scotland. Fine hill.Alex C18/11/2017
Large cairn but HP one of two outcropping boulders on the large flattish summit area. Squally showers followed by sunshine.Denise 17/11/2017
Very wet walk up the Glen from Lochranza distillery. Heavy showers, especially whilst on the summit.NormanW17/11/2017
From Beinn Bhiorach - on to Beinn Tarsuinn.Wycombe Wanderer17/11/2017
Long day starting with Chamadale, then this one and over to Meall nan Damh. Ground was saturated and there were precious few animal tracks so it was a hard slog but in a wonderful wild area.AndrewFinnimore05/09/2017
Very rough and wet track from Lochranza distillery up to Loch an Davie. Many side streams in spate. Far too windy on top to proceed to HuMPs and TuMPs so dropped back down. Final Arran MarilynThearlaichdubh19/06/2017

Beinn Tarsuinn South and main top, Bheheinn Bhreac, Beinn Bhiorach, Creag na h-Iolaire, Meall Mor & Creagan nan Caorach for good measure! With Phil and Yappy dog Blue.Mountain Goat11/06/2017
Dropped off at the high point of the road between Sannox and Lochranza. ATV track SW past the forestry into a stiff headwind, which petered out contouring around the shoulder into Gleann Easan Biorach. As soon as I saw Loch na Davie in the mist, headed straight up. Fairly short steep section of boulders, the rest heathery, not so nice. Cairn was easy enough to find in the mist. Headed N then NE, down the Allt Dubh to the main valley. Valley path was initially very wet, then improved past the lovely ravine. Then back to the main road and a short walk in a heavy shower back to the cottage.Owen B16/05/2017

4th hill of 7 today on a circular from Lochranza, climbing Torr Nead an Eoin, Meall Mor, Bheinn Bhiorach and then climbing upto this to explore the summit srea. Fantadtic views of the Goatfrll range, reminding me of what i would still have to climb a few days later.Dazingdale11/05/2016

Starting from the carpark at Fairhaven, just south of Catacol, we followed a good path along Gleann Diomhan until just before the saddle 408m then broke north and headed directly for the summit of Beinn Bhreac over pathless rough moorland. Cloud was down on the hill so no views. Returned northwards bypassing Meal Mor but picking up the Catacol trig on Cnoc Leacainn Duibhe before dropping sharply down to Catacol and back to the car.jonglew12/05/2013
Also on 17-11-2017 with Denise. Dramatic cloud swept mountains to the S and blustery wind. Grey balls of fluff race over the grass - I assume voles.RichardM12/06/2012
From Lochranza via Loch na Davie, returning over Beinn Bhiorach and Meall Mor. Met a stray from the RHB dinner at the summit and had a chat.neimcv12/06/2012
DC and DS from road at BogullieMartin6603/01/2010
On a glorious, cold, sunny day in snowy conditions during a New Year week. With Martin66 & Shaky from Boguillie. A terrific view & well worth the clumping around through the snow.NotReallyABagger03/01/2010

Fr distillery to N, up Glen Easan Biorach, boggy in places. Waterfalls in burn add interest until rough rock/heather slopes lead to summit. Views of Abhail & A'Chir, from NW for a change. Return over Beinn Bhiorach, past fine cairn in middle of nowhere.Aye Jimmy30/07/2009
Distillery car park. By spectacular water falls to glen. Path deteriorated into peaty swamp for a mile. Uphill over wet rough moor to broad ridge and top at 13.00. Strong NW wind.arranc22/09/2003
