11th and final top of a 24km traverse from Beddgelert forest at the intersection with the A4085 at Pont Cae Gors, continuing from Coed Gorllwyn South and very difficult ground to negotiate with outcrops and deep recesses filled with brambles. I eventually reached the cabins at Prenteg and had meander through the roads there till I eventually was able to reach the road bordering the woodland, over a bwf on a wall and then up through dense brambles to walled pasture and then back through woodland to reach the top. I descended NW, again not easy eventually climbing over a fence and reaching the main road. I followed the main road back into Tremadog for food first at the Golden Fleece before reaching car in Porthmadog. | Dazingdale | 28/09/2023 |

From NNW, path thru field with frolicky horses, old stile and thru wood to summit outcrop in fine location. | RHW | 11/06/2017 |
After Snowdon Horseshoe; got dropped off in Prenteg and walked back to Borth-y-Gest picking this one up first. From gate on minor road at SH580415, south along field edges, then over wall and through rough woodlands to top with a surprising view. Returned the same way which in hindsight looked like the right call. Then aggressive dog in Fron-oleu farmyard. | Mark Jackson | 31/05/2017 |
From north. The top is situated at the top of a cliff with great views over Traeth Mawr and towards Porthmadog and the Cob. | Herbert Anchovy | 09/04/2015 |
