A lane of mud, a wonky gate, a wet sheep pasture to get to an RAF tower, built to house a radio receiver in the 50s. That's Anglesey done - if you don't include Puffin island.Martin R17/12/2023

Parked in small layby (2 cars) 150m E. of RoW at SH 4253 8392 - N. along RoW, over damaged metal gate & then ENE over pasture to the open-topped octagonal brick structure.gerrybowes29/10/2022
Up overgrown track from south, easier once through gate.PeterD13/08/2022
Took the west fp. No mud following a dry April. Over rickety gate and up to anti aircraft gun emplacement.Campbell Singer21/04/2022
Quick nip up from the right hand of the two footpaths then easily through a fence to summit. Lots of cows, so avoided the sinking mud.nickywood102/03/2022
Up wet ROW track from south as others - Snowdonian mountains in blue hazeMark Sims03/09/2020
6th top of 11 today, climbing Penmynydd, Bron Alar, Cefncwmwd, Bryn-teg and Bryn Carmel, continuing to Llanerchymedd. I parked up in the free public car park and walked up to take the overgrown fp, turning East to easily walk up to the Red-bricked structure and obvious top. I ventured inside rhen circled it before re-tracing my outward route...Dazingdale17/07/2019
Small layby for parking on the unclassified road near to the track leading to Tyddyn. Easy walk along PRoW, wall marked on OS map has long gone. Nice views.DanMaisieBex14/04/2019
P in new estate then as Dan.chrisbien13/04/2019
Quick up and down the FP from the B5111 with Derryderrymark05/01/2019
From the Station Cafe car park in Llanerchymedd. Walked down to the crossroads, then east on the B5111 to the beginning of the overgrown RoW track used by others. Then north towards Llwydiarth Fawr, through a gateway and north-east off the RoW easily to the summit structure. Onwards to Bryn Carmel. Nordic walk. Solo.Man of Kernow124/06/2017
Track to the SW up on to this sunny grassymound which apparently had a quart on its west side that's been wholly filled on and landscaped. Strange small newish shell of a dwelling near summit on west side and octagonal air raid shelter type building with no roof on actual summit .vegibagger13/06/2017
Along (muddy) farm track ROW from Llanerchymedd. Interesting buildings on topJamesD197217/02/2017
Roadside parking. Up RoW then over rough pasture to a roofless hexagonal brick-built probable WWII structure that looks remakable like an AA gun emplacement, but without the internal track for swivelling the gun is probably what housed the trig intersected station Llwydiarth tower. Pleasant lunch stop.jonglew18/09/2015
Walked up via public footpath on track from Llannerch-y-Medd with a former RAF wireless operator who was on site in 1953. The location was a VHF Fixer station part of the RAF Western Sector built c.1951 and was one of similar fixed sites managed by RAF Longley Lane. The site contained a Octagonal wooden hut with a hand stearable radio mast with two radio receivers, R1392D protected by a close surrounding Octagonal blast protecting brick wall (still existing)and a rectangular brick hut with rainwater collection tank (unroofed) which was accessible but not in use by 1953. The site had 3 RAF wireless personnel (2 on duty) who were billited with a landlady in Llannerch-y-Medd. The site closed around 1956. In 1953 there was a deep quarry feature between the mast hut and the rectangular hut but this has been filled in since. Access via footpath was restricted. Stile in the wall is blocked by plant growth on downslope side and gate was tied up with twine to prevent casual gate opealterain10/09/2015
From south. Track not overgrown on this visit and goes almost to octagonal shelter on top.ijpowell12/06/2015
