From the NE bashing through a combination of all sorts of undergrowth mainly nasty brambles. Ignore the footpath which runs NE/SW adjacent to the hill it doesn't exist.jrj16/10/2023

#5 of 5 from NE, P SH614398, NE ridge a little brambly, couple of summits en route 1-2m lower by hand level, HP is mossy outcrop at SW end of ridge.RHW16/12/2017
Solo: Penrhyndeudraeth - Pen-y-bwlch - Pen Ty-fry - Ynys Berfedd - Penrhyn-isaf - Porthmadog. Following the ROW from the junction at SH613397 looks easy, but involved a heroic battle with brambles. Dropping down the N face was no easier, and steeper. The trees to the S had recently been felled - maybe an easier route? Not clear where on the ridge the highest point was.Mark Jackson22/08/2016
A fairly horrible hill. A slog through bracken and brambles and then wandered through trees until I was fairly satisfied I'd been over the top.Herbert Anchovy08/04/2015
